This Cpac is another Fox news whom is being sued they aren't reaching out to anybody but partisans

They have country music singers how is that gonna get blk vote, they need blk vote because they need to win PA, MI, and WI blue states

Bush W and McCain went to NAACP
The reason republicans lost in 2020 in PA/MI/WI is because they didn’t get enough of the white vote.
No it’s because Biden was able to appeal to them better than Clinton was. Many of these voters supported Obama and there was a better argument that Biden would be a third term of Obama than H. Clinton who seemed like she would’ve been a third term of Bill which didn’t play well because of NAFTA and immigration concerns.

No. Biden didn't "win back" many WWC Obama-Trump voters.  If anything he did even worse than Clinton in many of those places. It was suburbanites, typically Romney-Johnson voters, that swung those states to Biden.

That  may have been the case in Michigan (plus the people in Flint who abstained in 2016) and maybe Wisconsin (Biden seemed to do better in WOW) but he won plenty of Obama-Trump voters in Pennsylvania.

Where were they? From what I see, most of the heavily WWC counties in Pennsylvania that swung toward Trump in 2016 swung even further toward him in 2020. Especially in the Appalachian parts. Biden's performance in Appalachia (excluding educated liberal enclaves like Asheville and Morgantown) was probably the worst of any Democrat ever. Worse than McGovern and worse than HRC.

Erie, & Northhampton which I think has WWC areas. He also improved by quite a bit in both Luzerne & Lakwanna counties.

Can you be sure those were Obama-Trump voters though? Based on the percentages, it seems like they were mostly third party voters (or maybe just didn't vote at all) in 2016.

It's possible but in the last two Biden improved by 5 points in both. I just find it hard to believe that there's that many third  party-Biden voters

Maybe. Lackawanna is Biden's home county though so it's a special case.

I listened to Don Jr and Cruz and Green and Vance not one thing they say is united to get D's, they have to get D not Republican states

They protect tax cuts for Corporate, that's why I hope we get the Filibuster proof Trifecta, there are some D's like S019 that think that it's a status quo Eday lol Obama and Biden won the PVI 52/45 and won a landslide Biden doesn't have to be at 60% approvals, it's a long way to Eday

Unlike in 22 all our incumbent are in swing states and Cruz, Hawley and Scott are vulnerable as they always were when the Eday got closer because FL and TX are Latino states and MO is close proximity to KS and KS has become at least at the Gov race a D state Sharice David's is planning on running for Gov in 26

Nope. You can't hide how revolting the modern right is by pushing it all into a mega thread so you can just ignore it.

Crazy comments by a YouTube commentator isn’t worthy of the individual thread. Besides the reason for the megathread is trans related threads make up an insane amount of discussion here while any thread on economic issues gets 5 posts at most .

Also the mods deleting the Alben thread on the whistleblower was horrific

I don't think these comments are crazy. I don't think most serious Republicans -- at a time when state legislatures across the country are taking action to prohibit transgenderist castration for minors -- do either. Unless you truly believe that, I would encourage you to not to concede the Overton Window framing here by labeling what many would consider perfectly reasonable comments as insane. That strategy is exactly what has allowed extremist transgenderism to gain such latitude in the first place.

Didn’t he call for the ban on adults gender affirming care as well cause that’s different then calling for a ban on minor gender affirming care . Anyway I support DeSantis and Youngkin’s policies on this issue but Knowles comments seemed to go way further than that .

Mr conservative was pretty clear that he thinks banning us from transition is reasonable.

Please consolidate these into LGBT Issues Megathread. This is only threads from the past month. We clearly need a megathread. Your welcome.

Abortion/overturning Roe gets a megathread, COVID gets a megathread, Jan 6th gets a megathread

but somehow LGBT issues that are spammed in USGD just as often aren't worthy of a megathread? lmao

This is disgusting, Republicans should moderate on trans issues.
However I'm not a fan of the people encouraging trans people to get guns on this thread. Having a gun makes it way more likely you become a victim of gun violence. Guns should be banned.

Times like these I wish I could afford therapy. When most people agree with Michael Knowles and would kill me if they had the means and the knowledge of what I am (and ultimately, it's sh**t like this that makes me realize that I am more of a what than a who), it's hard not to get in my head and realize that maybe they have a point.

Nope. You can't hide how revolting the modern right is by pushing it all into a mega thread so you can just ignore it.

I'll echo DaleCooper from the other day, if democrats moderated on social issues, they'd have a supermajority trifecta

Republicans: "Trans people need to be killed."

You: "Wow, Democrats really need to moderate on this issue."

Trans Activists: "If people don't get my pronouns right I need to violently correct them. Also give kids puberty blockers/hormones before they can make an informed decision and allow biological men to compete on women's sports teams"

You: "Wow, Democrat really need to be more aggressive on this issue."

When did I advocate the use of violence to correct someone who uses the wrong pronouns?

We
Also give kids puberty blockers/hormones before they can make an informed decision

Who wants to do that? I’m all for having kids go to gender therapists so they can make an informed decision. You guys seem to live in this fantasy world where puberty blockers and HRT are handed out like candy.

If you're so fragile that you believe that someone correcting you is violent you shouldn't be using the internet. Or leaving your house at all, for that matter. Hard to engage with the world if you're afraid of your own shadow

Translation: you agree with what was said at CPAC.

I don't understand why CPAC is still hosted in an extremely Democratic county (PG County, MD).

Why don't they host this garbage in Mesa, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO or Jacksonville, FL?
