This election in many ways feels very similar to KY 2019, where despite Trump and Bevin going down the GOP seemingly did pretty well across the board.

Also it seems like McConnell is treating Trump now the same way the KY GOP Legislature treated Bevin after his defeat

Trump's going to try and run again in 4 years, isn't he? Ugh

Absolutely he will, and he stands a good shot of winning the nomination.

Maybe.  I personally doubt it.

I thought exactly the same thing.

I don't think he'd do nearly as well if he tried running again. Many Republicans are tired of Trump's antics and lack of strategy/effectiveness on domestic issues. Give the GOP base another candidate (perhaps Hawley) who can perfect what Trump started, and they'll gladly take it.

Biden won Kent County by 5 points. Now up by 100K over Trump in Michigan.
LMAO

It pays to wait for the votes to be counted.

Did the military vote swing D?
The margins in VA Beach, El Paso County, and Bell County are more Dem leaning than 2016.

I'm sure the "losers and suckers" comments didn't do him any favors.

But I was told John James is the future of the GOP?

Seriously though, after beating expectations twice in a row, he might run for something else again. But right now it's kinda looking like he's the Dino Rossi of Michigan.

Shoutout to the one dude wearing a Reagan Bush '84 shirt.

I'm going to say something that's going to piss a lot of people off.

Bring back poll tests.

I'm going on the record here.

If voters were required to have even a rudimentary understanding of governance and the policies in question, Bernie would have won the primaries and general in a landslide.

Thank goodness! SN doesn't get to gloat. Way closer than it should have been though, that's been true of almost everything this f***ing election though (possibly with the exception of Arizona, almost everything seemed to have worked out there).

The Senate is the biggest disappointment in another election year that yields only a hollow victory at best, but at least Democrats will have netted a seat now. I'm really hoping that we can have two Georgia run-offs make up for Crusty Cal and Sara Gideon's failures.

It should be noted that Biden is narrowing Trump's margins in rural red PA counties. The 'Shy Biden Voter' voted by mail.

LOL why am I not surprised you're one of those?

Better not put economics questions on the test, though...

Watch him run for Gov in 2022 only lose to to Whitmer...

Honestly, that was dangerously close though, and now Democrats task is to push Perdue under 50%. I swear if he squeaks by with something like 50.02%...

Doesn't seem like the move of a campaign that expects to prevail in the vote count.

I couldn't say for sure that he'd win, but I think he's definitely got a decent shot. QAnon is now firmly entrenched in the Republican party and plenty of statewide officials basically got elected on the platform of swearing fealty to Trump. He'll remain a force in the Republican party as long as his health permits.

I can’t get over the fact that Cal's sexy messenges might cost us the Trifecta for Dem legislation to effectively combat climate change. Icebergs will melt because of how hot he is. Sexiest butterfly effect.
