The Jackson 20s will remain legal tender indefinitely. For that matter the old Jackson 10s are still legal tender, tho they are worth far more than face value to collectors, so I certainly wouldn't tear those up if you have them.

Nate Silver was was pointing it out in October warning against D leader to not allow the "Trump is going to steal the election" narrative sink in

This certainly won’t win over Ds and may turn off more moderate Perdue/Biden voters. Anyways, it seems that the GA runoffs are going to be a total sh*tshow.

They’re not counting on winning over any Ds. Turnout is certain to be much lower than the general so their smartest strategy is to throw red meat at their base and hope enough stay engaged that they win while the Dem base shrinks.

Georgia of 2020 is not the Georgia of 2018 or even the Georgia of 2020. This special will not have low turnout. If anything, I would suspect Ds to be supercharged now that they realize their state just went blue. Likewise, now that Trump is off the ballot, it's going to be a hard lift to get those hardcore Trumpers, who only came out for him, to come back and vote for Loeffler and Perdue.

What does this even mean? Russia certainly influenced the election - but to date there is no evidence of actual votes being manipulated. Just call on your party to stop the bull*hit.

It's very dangerous to the political system, though. If that side which believes that elections are rigged then refuse to participate in the electoral process, they will make themselves heard through other means. Democrats should regurgitate the statements from Republican Georgia officials that the election is fair. It won't convince the Q-Anon types, but it will hopefully dissuade Republican pundits not to feed them.

Not just that, but no one was saying "Oh, let hillary have a few days and get her thoughts together" like they are with Trump. Double standard #1

Also the fact that people are saying "Biden is going to have to appeal to the 70m+ votes that Trump got, and try and understand those people" (which he will bc hes a good person), but nobody was saying that to Trump, and no one was saying that he should be listening to the 65M+ people who voted for Hillary and not for him.

For anyone curious about Georgia, the deadline for counties to certify votes to the state is Nov. 13.  Approximately 47 counties have already certified (Gwinnett is the largest of them).  The state then has until Nov. 20 to certify the results.  At that point, recount requests will be accepted.
