Wow some more Zapata counties but in Maine , there are some areas in Northern Maine that were like nearly 70% obama and still barely voted for Clinton but Trump flipped a town or 2 this year. Very small difference overall but still crazy.

Of the remaining ~474,300 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 203,000 of them - (42.8%)

NV - Biden up by 11,438 (89% counted)

Of the remaining ~151,000 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 70,000 of them - (46.2%)

Ugh, all this whining from Spanberger. Why are so many people in the Democratic caucus so lame?

Because bad messaging from Dems in safe blue seats is actively hurting her. Her (and DMP's) complaints are completely reasonable.

I mean I’m glad Spanberger hung on but girl like.... complaining about a BLM attack ad against you and blaming leadership? It’s called a campaign. Learn to run one better next time so you can fight off these attacks.

She's right though.

"Defund the police" sounds really bad.

Cool. No one in the Democratic leadership ever said to defund the police. So, again, Spanberger should be able to run her own campaign without blaming others for nearly losing.

She's not wrong.

The national GOP is way worse than the national Dems and individual Republicans like Fitzpatrick win in unfriendly territory all the time. I'd argue that this cycle if you lost it was either just unwinnable in a presidential year or it was your fault.

But Rashida Tlaib and AOC were all about defunding and their words were used against DMP and Spanberger

Against Nick Freitas at that. Isn't he the guy who had to run a write in campaign for state house last year because he couldn't figure out how to properly get himself on the ballot?

2024 pls!!!!

he sounds like a sore loser. Anyway does anyone think Hawley can reach trump's appeal? or is trump a unique character in reaching out to the working class voters. Im not sure if other republicans can replicate trump's success but im not sure
Also Hawley is a transparent douche bag with an unbelievably easy to attack record

But all these Democrats like Omar and AOC and Sanders who intentionally court media coverage have and it's hurting everyone else. They should know better.

It's more about getting the leadership to control the loons like AOC and Omar and getting them to stfu.

This whole thread is just incredible...

DMP was in tears during the call.

How about they take responsibility for themselves? They should have run better races, it's not leadership's fault that they suck.

it's absolutely the left's fault. There's nothing the moderates can do if they're forced to having to keep reiterating that they don't want to defund the police.
Ofc the left wouldn't understand the problems with "defund the police". The left hates the police overall, so they assume that their complete set of attitudes about the police are at least mainstream. They aren't.

Awesome. Maybe Spanberger should complain about them then? But to be honest, she really should take responsibility for her own election results. Stop scapegoating others for your own crappy results.

GA - Biden down by 12,764 (98% counted)

Of the remaining ~100,512 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 56,638 of them - (56.3%)

PA - Biden down by 108,367 (92% counted)

Of the remaining ~560,502 votes to be counted, Biden needs to win 334,500 of them - (59.7%)

That "needs to win" percentage looks like it's dropping a good amount from yesterday.

PA now looks better than GA for Biden.

The vote coming in in PA is 80% Biden.

and the remaining counties are getting bluer and bluer (at least in PA).

That's because Biden's been running ahead of his needed pace consistently.  The more he does that, the lower the threshold goes for the remaining votes.

Again, if nuts like Steve King and Jim Jordan aren't sinking Fitzpatrick and Katko, there's no excuse, especially against Nick Freitas. If you want to be safer run a better campaign.
