Turnout reports begin!

Almost 200 voters at Falls Church at 7am

50% by 9am

Liberal white areas don't seem to be a problem. Election will be won or lost on the % of electorate that is African American.

High election day turnout is bad for McAuliffe.

Not in Falls Church.

Yeah, I'm much more interested in the SW turnout. It appears the super white liberal areas are seeing good turnout.

My dad is a poll worker in Danville. He said as of 9 AM steady turnout at his precinct.

This is the same guy who was a mess election day 2017.

This time, he's not including the nearly 2,000 VBM votes in Charlottesville on top of the 4500 early votes.

Failing to take into account things like VBM and early votes in this sort of analysis is just malpractice.

Poll tax!!!

My dad's ward was at 25% of 2020 votes by 9AM. It went 60-40 Dem for congress in 2020. It is a pretty good microcosm of black and white, rich, middle, and low income.

One thing we can all agree on - if Rs win it's not because it was too hard to vote.

So based on early reports, it seems turnout is looking pretty comparable to 2017.

DAMN, calling for McAuliffe, this is over now. How many more races is she going to cost us?
Young Kim's homophobia is the single biggest problem for Republicans in the 2022 midterms.

Youngkin wins: Young Kim is the first unbeatable titan to transfer her powers, Biden+10 seats safe R in 2022
Youngkin loses: Young Kim endorsement is the kiss of death, the memes were right, House tilt D in 2022 depending on the number of kiss of death endorsements she gives

To illustrate why this is useless, Dave Wasserman of all people just tweeted out something about dems underperforming in Chartsoville that was based on a misunderstanding of a data-set that didn't include early votes.
