Congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, but also to all of us who have suffered for four years under this horrific President. May we rebuild well in these next four years.

I think we're going to have a lot more in just the next two months to rebuild too.  Trump's going cause a lot more damage.

Airspace now restricted over Biden’s home.
From CNN's Pete Muntean

New restricted "national defense airspace" has been put in place over Democratic nominee Joe Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Federal Aviation Administration posted the Temporary Flight Restriction on Wednesday, the day after the general election. An FAA notice to pilots available online shows the one mile radius no-fly zone is now active until next Wednesday morning.

The FAA says airspace has also been temporarily restricted over the nearby Chase Center, where the stage is set for a possible Biden victory speech – should he ultimately win the presidential election.

Congratulations to neolibs for getting this opportunity to resume your war on the working class. I'm sure you'll make Bezos & Co. proud.

Trump has told people he has no plans to concede.
From CNN's Kaitlan Collins

In conversations with allies in recent days, President Trump has said he has no intention to concede the election to Joe Biden, even if his path to a second term in office is effectively blocked by losses in places like Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Aides, including his chief of staff Mark Meadows, have not attempted to bring Trump to terms of what’s happening and have instead fed his baseless claim that the election is being stolen from him.

Trump’s allies have grown concerned that someone is going to have to reckon with the President that his time in office is potentially coming to an end, though they have not decided who should be the one to do it. There has been talk of potentially Jared Kushner or Ivanka Trump doing so, sources said.
Please try to stay in office.

Maybe Biden should be on the "free college" train.

It would help Trumpers like you out.

Indeed it revved up these past four years.

I'm glad that the election has been finally projected after nearly four days, but it was still far too close to comfort, and much closer then I had anticipated it being. And I am not looking forward to the next four years, from the vantage point of what we'll see with partisan gridlock. Moreover, I fear that the Democratic Party may come to regret winning this election down the road. Yes, it was important to get Trump out, but there will be consequences that will extend into the decade.

What a lovely development to wake up to. I just finished texting TCG to congratulate him on his historic state flipping vote!

Could someone check on MillennialModerate's pulse, PQG?

I'm waiting until a major network makes it official before I post my full thoughts, but PQG is a VERY happy girl right now.

I'm one of those.  I'm so glad I was wrong.  I have never wanted to be more wrong about something than I was about this race, but I'm glad I was wrong.  You may all now throw shade at me Smiley

I am still dooming about Trump creating more damage in the next two months though.

If you think you're happy, imagine how those of us who've been wanting President Biden since the Obama administration feel!

I’m about to work my a** off to ensure these Senate seats stay red in GA.  The fate of the country depends on it.

Just woke up and saw GA and PA flipped. Congrats, President-elect Biden.

For GA, looks like remaining votes are almost all in Gwinnett which will likely go 2-1 for Biden. He's on track to lead by 3-4k votes after the mail-ins are counted. So, what's next?

Provisionals likely will go 20-30 points more than Dem than the election day vote, which was Trump +20 statewide. Implication is that Biden will probably net a few more votes since provisionals are disproportionately from urban counties (more transient population that have address issues).

The overseas vote is pretty overhyped and not going to matter much if Biden is already up 3-4k. There are 9k ballots out there but I doubt more than 1k are going to come in today between this morning and 7pm. These ballots would all be late arriving ballots - most overseas votes have already been counted.

This battle is won. The struggle is a long way from over, though. But for now, celebration time! Smiley
