Russia is now detaining 5th graders for allegedly protesting against the war:

Quote
A resident of Moscow, who chewed to remain anonymous, said that police officers took her 10-year-old daughter from a school in Nekrasovka on Lev Yashin Street and took her to the district police department. The woman sent Mediazona a report on the delivery of a minor.

The mother of a fifth grader told the human rights project OVD-Info that on October 5, while she was driving to her daughter, a police officer, juvenile affairs inspector D. V. Mzhelskaya asked the girl where her parents work and how they spenThe fifth grader's mother explained that she was called to school in late September to discuss her daughter's absence from Talking About Important. At the same time, the deputy director, the head teacher and three social teachers asked about the girl's avatar in a chat with classmates.d their leisure time in the family. As a result, the schoolgirl was taken to the Nekrasovka police department separately from her mother.

According to the mother, in the department, employees of the Center "E" studied the correspondence on her phone. There were also representatives of the guardianship. The woman added that they took explanations from her for three hours - questions related, among other things, to her daughter's profile picture with yellow and blue flowers.

It seems that 3 months ago Russia put this out saying there are 20 layers of defense for the Kerch Bridge.  I am very curious about how the military dolphin works in this situation.

What about the bird, in the very top-left corner?

Hmmm... if that is real what does that say about the quality of Russian Air Defense systems, considering they basically have an advanced ship with all sorts of bells and whistles to detect incoming airborne stuff permanently by the bridge, which in theory should be able to detect any incoming missiles.

Still Ukraine did manage to sink the Flagship of the Russian Black Sea fleet using unconventional methods...

The video does not look authentic.
Also, from other video, it looks like there is only one explosion not two. (This video shows a two missile strike).

For the first time during the war, Russian Forces in Ukraine will be under the command of one man, now "Commander-in-chief" Surovikin. He is the one who is credited for saving Assad's regime during the Civil War. Previously he was only commanding the Southern Campaign. Hardliners like Prigozhin and Kadyrov are backing him

This is Russia we're talking about, the country of 'little green men' in Crimea. So actually yes, I wouldn't put any of that past them, although Kim is also equating wholly different scenarios in order to try and make it seem like he's making a good point... Which he isn't. I doubt the Ruskies are behind this bridge incident but they're almost certainly behind the pipelines...

^^ Basically this.

"How a ban on Russia’s mining giants could shake the metals world"

LME might ban Russian mining companies from LME.

If that were to take place it will become the same old game as oil.  Russia will have to find new sellers and sell for less and the middlemen that emerge will eventually resell these metals back in LME at a markup.

tbf I understand Woodbury's concerns. If the Russians can't transport stuff to Crimea the Ukrainians won't be able to resupply their tank fleet.

I would not be so quick to assume that the insertion of a middle man will cleanse the metal of its Russian taint, that many consumers refuse to buy. But yeah, someone who actually uses the metal will buy it, at a discount, which is the whole point. Slowly but surely strangle the Russian economy, and bankrupt it.

With Putin now firebombing cities, I hope and trust that NATO has made a top priority providing Ukraine with defensive missile shields. If NATO is not providing Ukraine with the best it has to do that, that is wrong. Putin is already bouncing the walls, so worrying about irritating him further is misplaced.

Meanwhile in Stavropol, Russia (beyond the war crimey aspect of his comments, it's weird he specially mentions Sarmat rockets...which aren't in service yet):
