Oz's abortion comment is all over Twitter right more, way more than any of Fetterman's issues.
I assume you follow a bunch of liberals on twitter, if your feed is anything like the content you post on here. Similarly, conservative twitter is abuzz with all of Fetterman's bad moments. Partisan echo chambers are not objective!

God I wish I could put mods on ignore.

Looks like the media has decided to give the election to Oz after tonight. As I predicted, Fetterman is held to a significantly higher standard than Walker, who was significantly more incoherent. Will be very hard for Democrats to win this now.

Far more significant will be the take of the two power newspapers in PA. Oz obviously hopes to have the same kind of take coverage as to the AJC had on the Walker-Warnock debate.

I dropped in here to see the bad takes and doom and I am not disappointed.  Cheesy

Imagine believing a debate will change anything either way.

Oz hit Fetterman pretty well on the pipe dream of removing the filibuster.

The usual caveats about non-Presidential debates apply, but this is clearly bad for Fetterman. I'm worried that the stroke is going to sink him here. It goes without saying that this isn't a personal failing and nothing could be done about it, it's just sh**tty circumstance. Effectively random chance. I hope that Oz falters down the stretch due to his overwhelming unlikability and that Fetterman can put this debate behind him.

Fetterman makes Herschel Walker look like Barack Obama.  So sad, he really needs to get help.. this is painful to watch.

I was nervous before the debate, and I'm scared to death now. I'd like to say "debates don't matter" but this one will of course when the media gives the W to Oz. Democrats are consistently held to higher standards, in every category.

Not watching the debate, but all the people informing me the sky is falling, left right or center, also said that Herschel Walker won his debate, so I'm going to assume that Oz slightly outperformed/Fetterman slightly underperformed expectations and it will not move the needle much either way.

I wouldn't be surprised if Biden endorses Lamb, assuming he endorses anyone in the primary.

Biden said the Lamb reminds him of his son Beau, which he also said about Buttigieg.

While he is more moderate than Fetterman or Kenyatta, he wouldn't be another Manchin or Sinema. He'd be more like a Booker, Klobuchar, or Gillibrand.
Biden will likely stay out of the race. Now Casey? His endorsement will be crucial if he decides to.

As for Lamb, the issue I see for him is his stance on energy. His support for natural gas could cost him in Chesco/Delco where there have been numerous problems with the Mariner East pipeline. Fetterman has flip-flopped on it since he won the Lt. Governor race in '18, rather disappointing imo.

Walker won against expectations but Warnock won easily.

Tonight however … Oz won quite easily

The abortion line was pretty stupid in a state like Pennsylvania. Obviously Roe isn't going to be the only issue in the election, but saying abortion should be "between a woman, her doctor, and local political leaders" is very stupid. That line would be cringeworthy in Kansas, let alone PA. Got to imagine that gem ends up in some late ads.

I’m not gonna sugarcoat it—Fetterman has it pretty rough. It’s clear the words aren’t coming out the right way for him always. But you can decipher policy positions and familiarity with Pennsylvania beneath the stuttering. With Oz, he sounds desperate and like he only half read a few talking points that he needed to stick to all night. He has no relation to our Commonwealth and he very clearly believes in talking out of both sides of his mouth to appease both moderates and MAGAs. If all you care about is how they sounded, this might change your vote. But if you listened to what they were saying, the choice was pretty clear.

This is ridiculous pablum. Wasn't Oz egging him on to debate? The whole point of this exercise was for Oz to humiliate someone with aphasia. The whole point of the Oz campaign is to make fun of Fetterman for having a stroke and, also, to accuse him of coddling criminals.
