At least 54K still outstanding from Pennsylvania, per the DOS tonight at 6pm. Not sure if that also includes provisionals, overseas, military, etc.

LIL JON FF!!!

YE-AH!

I always find it funny, though far from surprising, how so many celebrities who know Trump, or were on his show especially, like Lil Jon, hate him more than anyone. For instance, according to Penn Jillette, Trump is even worse if you know him.

So the GOP formally going along with the fraud narrative. Well that's interesting.

Well, Joe Biden certainly isn't going to unify and reconcile the country when half of it simply isn't interested in unity and reconciliation.

The DNC must have rented warehouses to print up all the ballots and hired thousands of workers from mexico to check Biden on each one. lol, lol, lol

Of course, I doubt it as I don't think the dnc would have the nerve to do something so treasonous against the American people. I believe Biden won fairly and think it is on Trump to prove otherwise.

I wonder if those Biden-Republican ticket-splitting voters are regretting their choice now. I hope so. But it's way too late now.

That was also basically the same wall that down-ballot Democrats ran into for their re-elections. Half of this country (well 47%) is simply corrupted beyond comprehension.

That new PA lawsuit had a surprising amount of typos.

Just like the last 3 DOJ investigations, nothing will be found. The men and women there have shown that they aren't influenced by Trump and Barr.

Question for our resident lawyers: Does "substantial" have a specific meaning in legalese?

The full quote in the report is:

"pursue substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities prior to the certification of elections,"

So, probably not legalese.

I would be more worried about this if Barr had "found" something with Durham.

I never understood the logic that Democrats are constantly stealing elections, yet at the same time, also suck at winning elections. Like, if Democrats have a massive secret network of fraudulent voters and election workers, even in Republican-controlled states like Georgia, then why are Democrats still losing elections there? Why did we not win the two Senate seats outright? Why did we perform worse further downballot? Why are Democrats losing anywhere if we're so sophisticated as to steal entire states for the presidential candidate?

These kinds of argument are just like, the dumbest arguments people can make. It also shows a disturbingly high opinion of the competency of the average criminal and their ability to not only carry out such an operation, but to keep it a secret. The kind of people willing to go this far just aren't that smart, nor reliable, nor numerous.

The Republican Party is truly disgusting. The fact that they didn't clearly lose their majority in the Senate is a disgrace.

Too many Americans split their votes. I can't wait until 1/20/21 comes.

Doctor will no longer be able to use "who is the president of the untied states" to test if patients have brain damage or not.

Well, I guess technically they still can.

Mohave is Trump's best county (75-24) so this isn't as impressive as it looks for him.

They don't have to find anything, they're going to use this to challenge the electoral votes in the Senate, which McConnell seems all in on doing

If Pence and the GOP Senate somehow refuse to go through with the certification, then we have Acting President Nancy Pelosi.

The electoral college meets in a joint body of the House and Senate, McConnell can't challenge it on his own.

This.  Any challenges to electoral votes submitted by the states must pass *both* houses of Congress, which isn't going to happen.  I did quite a bit of research on this for a what-if timeline a couple of years ago.  And Trump's and Pence's current term ends at noon on Jan. 20 - this is cast in stone in the Constitution.  So if something holds up the certification of Biden and Harris, Pelosi becomes Acting President until it's resolved.

Alot of this feels like republicans trying to placate Trump and his base. That'd be fine if it wasnt so damaging to the integrity of our democracy.

Would really be great if Maricopa and Pima could count as fast and regular as these other Trump counties do so we can just get this over with.

This is what's most frustrating to me. Rs stood by Trump for 4 years. GOP members didn't really seem to offer anything in what they would do if they took the house. And yet many voters, even while voting for Biden, thought a GOP house would be better? Huh?

Also posturing for 2024 by the GOP's dime-a-dozen cynical opportunists. They secretly know and want Trump to be out of office but can't go as far as to say it publicly.
