I’m inspired. I’m gonna do a song entitled “Blue Georgia”.

I hope they are playing "Georgia in the Wind" by Ray Charles right now over there. It would be so poetic.

I honestly would like this. Republicans have spent more than a decade crying fraud at every level, perhaps if a Trump-backed campaign went ahead and found nothing it would change people's mind (I doubt it - the last decade of fraud commissions still have Republicans complaining). Unfortunately, it's not going to be checks of fraud over the next two months but constant litigation around how many legally cast ballots can be thrown out.

Are we still expecting more Nevada returns very soon?

Biden's lead doubled from a lead of 10K to 20K.

Supplanting the more well known "Georgia on my Mind"?

I saw that, but that was only 30k ballots...I thought we were supposed to get the vast majority of the outstanding ballots today.

What do we make of the fact that Minnesota voted to the left of the nation?

Morass my ass.

Hence the quotation marks.

Do you know anyone at Penn dumber than Trump, or is his reputation as the worst student in school history accurate?

I mean, they let me in so...I may give him some competition in that regard.

Seriously though, obviously can't say for sure, but NOBODY here is proud that he's an alum.  Not even the College Republicans.
The reality is that elite schools hold well over half of there spaces for children of potential large money donors and legacies. There are allot of Ivy league alums with good academic records that wouldn't have gotten in on merit and a few, like the Trumps, who outright would have been headed for trade school without daddies money.

Why aren't the networks calling Nevada for Biden? If the vast majority of outstanding ballots are mail-ins from Clark and Biden is winning them 2:1 then there is no conceivable way that the rurals or even an unexpected pro-Trump dump from Washoe could change the trajectory of that race.

Gives me some hope about Ds narrowing the R's EC advantage in the future, especially since Trump seems to have invested more in MN than Biden.

I'm not, I wanted a 100% call rate.

Okay, now's as good a time as any.

I apologise for my dooming earlier completely. In high-stress situations, I tend to devolve into instantly believing the worst-case scenario is a certainty. For those unfamiliar, this is called catastrophising. It's something I am trying to work on. As of a few hours ago, I have been discharged from hospital and am back home in my own bed.

LOL at all the love for McCain. Dems are now the party of Reagan/Bush.

Without having read anyone else’s responses to this...no.  I don’t think there’s one Dem poster here who liked McCain for his politics.  He was an admirable person, and a true American hero, and his politics are separate from that.

2020 has shown us that the only thing that makes MN, ME, and OR look winnable for Republicans is 3rd parties.

Why aren't the networks calling Nevada for Biden?

For some reason they seem to be actively looking for excuses to avoid putting Biden over the top. I don't think any of us are quite sure whether it's because of muh ratings (i.e. wanting to call the race at some time other than midday) or because they're afraid Trump will tweet mean things about them.

What do we make of the fact that Minnesota voted to the left of the nation?

Well, what I make of it is that I was right. The state is so polarized and so consistently high-turnout that it’s Titanium Likely D, and the close margin in 2016 was caused mostly by third-party voting. Dems shouldn’t get too worried about trends either, because MSP is there to counteract any rural rightward shift (most of which has already happened anyway).

I tend to think the worst case as well.  Thus the cause of my dooming.  It’s not like I’m trying to be a doomer.  It just comes out, especially when there’s a lot of unknown...and even sometimes when there’s not.

I think the networks want to call the presidency on primetime so later on in the day rather than this early. the networks are all bonding together to call it together. Although If Nevada gets called, then Fox would have to cll the presidency for Biden

Jennifer Medina: Mike Noble, a Phoenix-based pollster, told me: “That’s a wrap for the presidential contest in AZ. Trump needed almost 60% on this ballot drop, he got very low 50s. #Ballgame.”
