What are we looking at for final margin in GA? Biden by <5k?

If nearly 50,000 absentee votes are missing from the count, Biden should take the state by way more than 5,000.

Has the 50k ballots been proven at all yet by a reputable source?

Would really have been nice if Georgia got off it’s ass and released the results before then.

Trump is now below 79K with the most recent small update from PA. Biden just hit 49%.

from the NYTIMES
"ohn James, a Republican who ran against Senator Gary Peters of Michigan in a tight contest, is refusing to concede, citing vague and unsupported claims of cheating"
what a good sport.

People are talking About biden underperformance with some hispanic voters but here is something to remember

yes trump did will better hispanic in 2020 and Hillary did even better with them in 2016 but look at where that got them in the end.....

The fact is Biden built a more broad coalition that was getting a good chuck of votes form ever ethnicity instead of just relying on 1.He many not have dominated with that group like Hillary did but he did not have to since unlike Hillary he was doing better among almost every other group of voters.

The big leason here for both Dems and the GOP is make the effort to win over every American instead of simply just relying on 1 group of voter to help you get the to the white house.

The question is whether you can attribute Biden's results to Biden, or the celebrity value Trump has brought to American politics to 2016. And also whether people were 'super enthusiastic' to vote for a 77 year old guy who has been in politics for 47 years, or whether they just really hated Trump and wanted Trump out of the white house.

Some of the anti-Trump feeling is hatred (or antipathy if you want a less charged word).  Some of it is people just wanting a return to the days of boring politics, when there wasn't chaos, scandal, and controversy coming from the White House on a daily basis.  We saw the same reaction after Watergate, and it cost the Republicans in the 1974 midterms.

Pennsylvania’s top election official says it may take longer than expected to complete the count there. Her office says about 326,000 mail ballots still need to be counted

It's astonishing how Biden failed to reverse the Democratic collapse in rural areas throughout most of the country. But then again, trends are real and the 2018 midterms gave us a strong indication that this would be the outcome.

FFS.

How long is this going to drag out?

Surely they’re putting people on overtime and working all night to count right?  Like, they’re not just working business hours, is it?  Honestly, it doesn’t even seem like they’re working regular business hours.  At the current rate they’re counting, we won’t know anything anytime soon.  Weeks or next month.

So will we know who leads though? Cuz there's a difference between final count and who will lead by the end of the night

Who knows?  Obviously the people in charge of vote counting in these states have no clue.  They’re adding fuel to the Trump dumpster fire of voter fraud claims the longer they wait to make any significant reports.

Yeah blaming poll workers and their superiors is a little too doomery for me. Trump was gonna spew this authoritarian crap regardless.

Yes. The Georgia Secretary of State. The number is in the 40s though now.

Meanwhile in Arizona

So it looks like the late ballots in Arizona really are consistently more favourable to Trump and it wasn't just a quirk of the Maricopa results. 58-39 in a county that's currently 53-46 is a good sign for him.

Of course even if Trump gets Arizona he's still toast unless he keeps Pennsylvania which is looking less likely, but it'd leave Fox with egg on their faces.
