I've been trying not to cast doubt on this stuff but how is it possible that Nevada has 90% of its voted counted now but it's going to take them a week to count the rest? Penn getting called late tonight wouldn't be that weird, it's taken a few days to call states before but there's no reason for Nevada to be like this especially since it isn't even that big of a state. Hopefully Trump does not have "people" challenging all the ballots and slowing it down as one person suggested.

Based on the press conference from the registrar in Clark County it's clear that Nevada is a clown show.  It's vying to be the new Florida now that Florida is losing it's status as bellwether state.

Why hasn't GA-07 been called so far btw? Bourdeaux leads by 9000 and McCormick won't net this.

Was wondering the same. And all the votes coming into GA lean Dem now.

If that's true IDK what the problem with calling the election is. Trump is not winning AZ either.

BTW, no matter what Jeff Van Drew says, the race isn't over. Amy Kennedy trails him 10,100 votes with 72% of the vote.

Somehow Chris Smith keeps winning.

Trump netted 6k votes from Detroit, Biden lost 1k and Trump gained 5k.
Of course.
I have been warning Atlas Dems that inner-city minorities are the likeliest to shift right in voting habits, but no, apparently the Democratic Party will hold them at these current margins forever.

Judging by how Biden’s campaign addressed the concerns over his Latino problem...I am guessing they will just pretend the trend doesn’t exist until it bites them in the *ss.

What? You don’t know that this new batch of votes from Detroit exclusively come from African-Americans.

My advice is stop setting yourself up for disappointment.

Best case scenario for Trump is he holds on in Georgia and comes back in Arizona.

Nevada is gone. Pennsylvania is almost certainly gone.

You lost. Cope.

Anyways, if these losers are looking for someone outside of themselves to blame for their electoral performance, why don't they blame Robby Mook? Have no idea how they gave that clown the Majority PAC after 2016's unmitigated embarrassment.

As I’ve said before, I think Hillary’s campaign has been at least somewhat vindicated by the closeness of this election. Despite everything seeming to favor Biden more, despite him correcting basically everything her campaign was criticized for, he still only did slightly better. It’s enough, sure, but it’s not nearly as huge an improvement as you might expect. Pretty clear now that it’s less that Hillary was a bad candidate with a bad campaign and more that Trump just is not easy to beat due to how much he fires up WWC rural voters.
It seems that people didn't want to acknowledge Trump was a genuinely strong candidate in his own right.

I'm sorry, maybe this is one of those "I don't understand how McGovern lost, nobody I know voted for Nixon" moments, but I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that the American people are that simple-minded that trump was actually a good candidates rather than elected despite his overwhelming personal and political flaws.

2016 was explainable in some ways between Hillary being probably the most divisive political figure of the previous quarter century, her campaign got massively overconfident  to the level of malpractice by pouring resources into places like New Orleans  but not campaigning at all in Wisconsin, the last minute Comey press sabotage Hillary as perhaps the most effective October surprise in decades, and then Trump pulling an inside straight with the Electoral College by the skin of his ass in 3 States.

I would like to think that the Biden campaign similarly committed electoral malpractice in Hispanic Outreach, but reports then Trump may have actually want as much as one in for African American male votes tells me - - - something completely different I again can't begin to wrap my head around.
I don't blame those for wanting to think Trump was an utterly terrible candidate.
But fact of the matter is that whatever can be said about his record as President, he's a strong performer electorally, though it's very much a regional-based appeal concentrated in the MW. He's doing worse than generic R in the Sunbelt.
A big part of it is that he's a very proficient liar. He tells so many lies, it's impossible debunking them all. A media outlet tried to count the lies he's said, but they gave up. It's that bad.

He's also able to appeal with a subset of the population who don't like the mainstream media and are persuadable. These people don't trust what the media says about him. The media's statements seem excessive to them. It seems they are making him into a strawman. A week ago or so I thought about why he has appeal and supporters. Part of this has to be blamed on the media, for both caring more about money and clicks than about the truth, and for excessive self-righteousness. I was a firm Clinton supporter in 2016 and I still feel a bit mad at the media for the emails stuff. I still don't trust the media wholly. But also, for a second imagine if you were a politically apathetic Trump supporter and you saw the media saying all the things it did. Why would you trust the mainstream news over the man himself? Especially when they are relying on "anonymous sources".

The Trumpist base is one that would be rudderless without him. For them, he is a rock. When he goes and says stuff like the media is enemy of the people and says the media lies, his words go more unquestioned because they rely on him for information. And partisan polarization only intensifies all this, by making them less liable to trusting what the other side says and be more willing to read their actions as carrying bad faith intentions.

Trump is an entertainer, and he has never strayed away from providing entertainment. For tribal Republicans, he is their fighter in the ring. It should shock no one that Trump did so well in 2016 and 2020.

What are the chances of a flip?
