Looking at the exit polls (yes, i know they tend to be flawed but whatever), 48% of voters said that the fight against COVID is going well, while a similar percentage said the economy was good or excellent.

No, this shows how terrible the MSM and the people who live in their bubble are.  If it's not salacious innuendo, panic porn or fake scandal they don't care about/report it; it's no surprise many Americans don't listen.  "Real life" wins out over hyper-produced news flashes and concern pundits at the end of the day.   

No it actually shows exactly what he said.  We are in a national pandemic.  Your candidate is traveling around the country spreading the virus with reckless disregard for the most fragile among us.  It's not a fake scandal.  Shame on you.

But maybe, just maybe, we should take lessons from Canada, most of Europe or Australia, because they don't have these delays.

Don't forget that in most European countries way less elections have to be counted at once. German federal elections just have 2 votes for instance, while the US elect every single office from President, Representative, Senator, State Legislator, County Official, City Councillor to Garbage Commissioner at the same time.

In 2013, in the state of Hesse (~Missouri in terms of population) there were state legislature elections taking place simultaneously with federal elections and it took them until next morning to have the results for the state legislature elections. Now imagine how much time would be needed if every other statewide and local office were elected additionally.

In Australia, we do sometimes have these delays - but nobody has a problem with it, because we all have absolute faith that the count is being done properly, apolitically, and with the intention of counting every valid vote. It can take a week, week and a half to call a particularly close race sometimes.

What's funny is, if we stop counting all votes now, then Trump loses. Either all states count their votes or all states stop. Did we not learn anything from Bush v. Gore in 2000?

There is no logical consistency here (as usual for Trump).  They want votes quickly counted in Arizona but no votes counted in Georgia or Pennsylvania.  

Trump thinks he can BS his way through this like a reality show and it's not gonna work this time.

NYT times reporting the exact number of uncounted ballots in GA is 61,367. Trump lead is 18,590 going into this final Batch. Biden will need to win about 65% of this last batch to take the lead.

It looks like the vast majority of these are metro ATL (Fulton, Clayton and Dekalb) votes, with some Chatham mail-ins thrown in the mix.

I have a strong sense of how this is going to turn out but I'm going to refrain from making a projection. Let's just wait for the final GA SOS update!

Is there about 61K votes left to count, or 90K ? This could be important to who wins GA ...

Here's a look at when we'll get updates from local officials today:

    10:30 a.m. ET: Georgia's Secretary of State will hold a news conference. There's currently a 33,000-vote margin between Trump and Biden, and there’s around 90,000 votes remaining to be counted.

Well now Biden is down 18K compared to 33K, so 60K sounds about right.

So their 90K number was an older figure.
Makes sense.
(I should have looked to see if the 33K-lead was still the current number. Now I see on NYT that it is about 19K, as you noted.)

This is why the states needed to ramp up their vote counting.  Even in the closest of elections, and even with VBM, there is no reason EVER for the election results to take more than a day to count.

Trump may steal the election now because of state’s inability to count their votes.

If Trump manages to stop vote counting in PA, and somehow come ahead in AZ and NV, it should be open war against Republicans.

I don’t mean that figuratively.  I mean there should be another civil war if this happens.

All votes should be counted, and if Trump wins after that then fine.  If he somehow manages to stop the vote count in PA, and allow it to continue in other states and he then “wins” there should be a legitimate second civil war in this country.

All the Trump campaign's "victories" are lies intended to delegitimize the election. If there was a hearing called to even consider interfering with the count, we'd have heard about it long before the Trump campaign got any results. These press conferences are also Jacob Wohl style stunts. If it worries you, just focus on the real news and hope for the best, but exposing yourself to their propaganda has no value or purpose.

Ok LOL so they are celebrating because the Court said all votes that came in after Election Day will not count. But that doesn't mean votes that were counted after Election Day won't count. Lol dummies.
