Surely to expected to meet someone in person at some point to hash out details?
I mean, I guess I expected my envoy to return with a letter of response arranging such a meeting. You are doing a good job at creating drama this way, though, which is kind of the point of Westeros games.

Honestly everyone keeps bungling my potential story arcs by acting in totally unexpected ways lol... but thats just in me not being able to guess people's moves better.

That’s good though in a way, speaking from past experience, many of the best story arcs in these games often emerge organically in just that way (unexpected player moves).  I can tell you that Lumine certainly didn’t see the Others storyline coming in The Lion and The Rose at the start of that game (nor did anyone else, myself included).

Aye, as I've said, the idea is for me to have to do very little in terms of creating 'drama', which has proven itself so far. It's exciting for me to be surprised and then go "well there goes the seed of that, time to throw some more into the ground and see what grows"

The sisters, however, are currently in a state of rebellion against the Vale, as they do so often. If you could come to some accord with the Lord of the Vale, potentially by marrying into his family, accomplishing some task for him or offering him a truly extravagant gift, they may give you leave to take the Sisters or one of the isles for his seat. Such a seat would be truly worthy of his name, especially the seat of House Sunderland, a seat of kings: https://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Sisterton

This would take a deal of preparation and would not be easy, and would certainly be much easier with allies. The sisters army could very well be almost as large as your own, and first you must treat with the Lord of the Vale, King Horton Arryn.

I think this PM you sent me was pretty fun and all, but I don’t really see how the way I responded is “acting in totally unexpected ways.”

I actually wasn't referring to this situation, more to do with the Bolton/stark accord and something another player did

question about this map: what's up with the yellow territory on the east coast? Shouldn't that (at least partially) be Manderly territory, since Widow's Watch is a Manderly vassal?

The phrasing in the books is "widow's watch will follow my lead" or something like that; it gave me rise tothink they were a separate holding. There was a playerwho wanted a super minor house so I let them play out there.

Dear lord this essay lol...

Night's Watch is done. Sorry Stark but I'm moving on from you for now as this one will likely take as long as the others all combined.

I have everyone's end of turn done but Stark, Ryswell, and the Mountain Clans, the latter two I have not received orders from. Dereich I'm sure will have his in.

I'll have to finish the rest at another time I'm afraid, but I plan on getting the topic for the trial up first to lay out our format and give people something to sink their teeth into.

Yes, but canon also says I have a dozen petty lords and a hundred landed knights. Having House Flint among those would give me a bit too much power. Granted, the historical ties of House Manderly and House Flint are hardly of importance now...

Indeed. If I could get a list of witnesses beforehand, I would appreciate it. Is the defense allowed to contact witnesses? Or will this be more of a neutral trial, in which the witnesses do not work with the prosecution or defense?

I assume you wouldn’t get access to or a list of prosecution witnesses since Tyrion didn’t in ASoS.

House Reed would seem to fit the bill.

Can he? I was under the assumption this would be run like tyrion's trial since that's the only example we have of the westerosi justice system, though I don't mind him having witnesses. when you post the thread for the trial it'd be great if you could explain the general procedure you want us to follow in the OP

Tyrion was given the chance to write a list of witnesses to call, I just couldn't think of any.

And yes welcome cranogmen Smiley
