Will any major network call either of the races tonight?

Maybe not before midnight but I think in the wee hours yes.

The tipping point in the Senate may very well end up voting to the left of the tipping point on the Presidential level, which is interesting to think about.

There aren't any votes for that. Joe Biden will be able to appoint his cabinet, pass a massive COVID stimulus bill with income replacement, implement a 100-day lockdown to finally defeat COVID, forgive student loan debt, and appoint judges however if these results turn out in favor of the Democrats. The Democrats are beyond screwed in 2022 however and 2024 is a safe Republican year.

Two Democratic senators from Arizona and Georgia.

Thanks Trump!

McConnell in particular 100% deserved losing his Senate majority after blocking the 2k checks. F*** him..

Are you looking forward to having the most powerful Senator?

Well it's not an entirely comparable situation given the nature of the run-off.

Oh, and Biden will have an easier time getting his cabinet through. Thats nice.
Before January 20th?

Um, he won't be in a position to formally nominate anyone until after Jan. 20...

Don't Cabinet nominees start to be voted on before the 20th? Or am I wrong?

Committees have historically started (technically informally) considering them before the 20th but they can't be formally nominated - & thus confirmed - 'til the 20th.

You have to admit that Mark Kirk was a good guy. Easily the most liberal Republican Senator this decade.

No, he was horrible hawk who made racist insults toward his opponent. I was proud to vote against him in 2016.

Your need to bring him up all the time is incredibly bizarre btw...

I'm sure this will get more coverage post-election, but it really is pretty crazy that in one cycle, GA Dems flipped the Presidential, 1 Congressional District, 2 Senate Seats and a number of state legislative seats, especially given the national environment wasn't especially pro-D this year.

Loeffler has to be the weakest candidate run in a competitive state in a long ass time.
Since the days of McSally 2020...or McSally 2018.

Hey at least McSally won a congressional seat.

If Democrats don't pack the courts and make DC a state now then they deserve to lose their majority in 2 years.

Increasingly looking like an Ossoff win of around 40k votes and a Warnock win of around 70k votes.

Only saw it tonight in response to this tweet. Surely this politics minded Forum recalls it was blatantly ripped off from Michael Steele's Maryland Senate campaign in 2006?

Still, an awesome ad.

Is it fair to say that in retrospect, the Presidency, Senate and House were all Tilt D?
