I’m definitely more optimistic than I was back in December but I’m getting scared by the pre-GE talking points I’m seeing here about how Trump’s rigged rhetoric will be self-defeating (it wasn’t/isn’t) and how unrealistic it is that the GOP get a lopsided ED turnout/% to make up the EV (they can easily). It feels like we just forgot the general election and falling into the bad habit talking points again

I’ve got to ask though even though there is a lot of ED vote left out if the reps are going over perform wouldn’t get some hints to that in the early Ed vote that has come in?

Ironically it was around this point in the GE when the NYT needle shifted in Biden’s favor because it knew what was left. Now at this point Warnock is at 75% and Ossoff 65% 😎

I'll tell you exactly why I think this - so far, Perdue has held a stronger lead over Ossoff than Loeffler has held over Warnock. Perdue has been a serious, if not low key, member of the Senate. On the other hand, Loeffler, whom I personally like a lot, is being perceived as the billionaire's wife. Her husband runs the boardroom, and she runs the Federation of Republican Women's weekly brunch. She's not as serious a candidate, and she's up against a much stronger opponent than Perdue is.
