Dave Wasserman just reiterated on MSNBC that they make a call when they have 99.5% confidence in the result. He was asked specifically if Trump's reaction would have any influence. That was his answer.

Looks like they were from Chester. Biden's lead 16.9% there. Was 16.6%.

What a embarrassing low margin in PA and WI, considering Biden is probably going to win the NPV by over 4 points after the slow counting blue states finish. Despite all the hype about NC's leftward trend, this another state that is very stubborn for Democrats and is going to be around R+ 5-6% compared to the NPV.

It's hard to know for sure, but from a quick scan, nearly all major military counties definitely swung to Biden. 3 even outright flipped. The only ones which didn't swing left that I saw were Honolulu (probably had more to do with the unfortunate AAPI swing for Trump) and Johnson, MO. It seems many of the Johnson voters in the military in 2016 went to Biden this time around.

For everyone criticizing the networks for going slow on calling the race:

Given Donnie Dumb****'s pattern of behavior, the Cabinet should be standing by ready to implement the 25th, Congress should be prepared to impeach, and the military should be fully prepared to reject illegal orders as many times as necessary before he gets the news that he's out.  But we have Republicans, so we're forced to settle for "aren't willing to help him actively destroy the United States today, probably".

The mainstream media are about to tell a mendacious, litigious, malevolent, stupid, utterly self-absorbed, immoral and psychopathic man-child - who has been placed in a position to command more power than anyone in human history - that he's not getting what he wants, it's time for him to go take a hike, and by the way,  he should get ready to face some consequences for all the wrongs he's done.  Of course they're taking their time to make certain that they have everything absolutely right before they do it. Nobody wants chance pulling the trigger on a civil war.

And, even though the Trump-cult will never care, waiting until its mathematically impossible for Trump to win before calling the race will rob the inevitable future whines from the GOP of much of their force. I think the networks playing it very, very carefully are making the right call.

The electoral college is 3-4 points to the right of the nation.  Democrats will have to win elections by 3-4 points in the NPV for the foreseeable future to hold the presidency.

The House is so gerrymandered that Dems were only able to get a 36-seat advantage in an election they won by 8%.  The clincher flip was CA-10 which Dems won by 4.5%, so shift the results 4.5% to the right and the Republicans hold the House despite losing the election by 3-4%.  This means the House is just as rigged in favor of the GOP as the electoral college.

And don't even get me started on the Senate, where states with 2 Dem senators represent 47.22% of the American population, while states with 2 GOP senators represent 41.1%, yet the GOP controls the chamber.  Split the 1-1 states, and the Democratic minority represents 53.04% of the country, while the Republican majority represents 46.96% of the country.  Democrats got 124 million votes between the 2014, 2016, and 2018 elections, while Republicans only got 99.7 million -- meaning if you combine all the elections that resulted in the current makeup of congress, Dems won by 11%, 55.5% to 44.5%.  And that 11-point combined win over the last 6 years earned them a 47-53 minority.

Right now Biden has 253 Electoral Votes, if Biden wins Georgia's 16 electoral votes, Biden will finish with 269, Trump wins the remain states and will also finish with 269 electoral votes.
