I wonder if Protasiewicz won any municipalities in Waukesha County. Biden came close, but no cigar.

City of Waukesha is going to be super close.

This is just a massive disaster and man only if Kelly didn’t win the primary .

Sure, the crappy candidate doesn't help, but Democrats were always going to win this race as part of the Dobbs backlash. That became pretty obvious after Kansas.

So now you're going to lose on abortion and the "Scott Walker legacy" in this state after screwing over poors in red states. I suppose politics is full of tradeoffs.

The way the Wisconsin legislature is gerrymandered is borderline 3rd world banana republic level of authoritarianism from the GOP and getting a chance to root it out and return the legislatures to the people is equally as important to me tonight as protecting the right to choose.

I'm just so happy, good choice Wisconsin! Purple heart

The map might end up being 100% identical to Kelly's 2020 loss.

I didn’t expect the republicans to handle this issue so incompetently . Turns out they handled it just like they did with Obamacare in 2017

My question is will Janet get 1M votes? Trempeleau and Grant counties are still out, part of Portage is still out, Menominee City (Dunn County, home to UW-Stout) is still out, as well as 40,000 absentees from MKE.

People were saying everyone would forget about Dobbs by November 2022.

You didn’t expect extremists to go extreme on the issue? They clawed themselves into something deeply unpopular and then can’t stop digging. Hope they burry themselves.

At this point I don't think it's a matter of competence. The Republican position on abortion is fundamentally unpopular, and voters simply do not trust Republican politicians to handle the issue. There's no way to sugar coat it. It is a losing issue, the Republicans "defund the police".

Kenosha voted Democratic. I wonder how Kenosha's own Weezer voted.

They didn't " handle it incompetently". Your party is dominated by right wing wannabe Taliban fascists whose views on most issues are grossly unpopular.

I’d say it’s not out of the realm of possibility in 24.

A while. It still voted 14 points to the right of the state tonight. The WOW counties are no metro Atlanta or Orange County unfortunately but they are shifting.

I wonder if this is a result of high turnout at UW-Stout.

The so called populists in the party’s playbook for “winning”. The fact is the Republican establishment does a far better job at choosing winners like 2021 VA showed

My guess is the early 2030s when we see it flip as a reaction to a Republican president
