I'm predicting a Protasiewicz vs. Kelly runoff. Dorrow leads Kelly now but that's only because her stronghold of Waukesha County is majority in. Kelly is beating her almost everywhere else.

Yeah, WOW + Milwaukee itself is strong for her but that seems to be it.

She's getting similar leads in the rest of WOW and leading over Kelly in other SW counties. Kelly seems more likely, but lets not just handwave away the fact the GOP has a lot of voters in this region.

There's not much left in WOW. Just Ozaukee. She's down to a 12k lead too.

Doubt Ozaukee is enough to make up for Dorow losing by significant margins basically everywhere else outside of the Milwaukee area.

Yeah, Kelly is going to take the lead any minute now, and it's very unlikely Dorrow ever gets it back.

Dorrow has less than a 1200 vote lead over Kelly now. He's got this.

Most of the uncounted Dane precincts are in the city of Madison proper, there are 36 Madison precincts still uncounted.

Are turnout expectations being exceeded? I haven't been following this too closely.

Do we think Dorow or Kelly is stronger? Gut says the suburban candidate is likely stronger – is this the case here?

20,000 absentee votes left in Milwaukee

I was wondering why MKE hadn’t updated in awhile, this explains it.

Also, another thing I wanted to add is that it appears there is still some residual downballot strength for Dems in the Driftless region. Vernon was won by Evers last November, and Janet is winning it with 51% right now; the two liberals are also combining for 53% of the vote in Jackson, which is a county Trump won by 15 points; in Pepin and Buffalo, Janet is substantially outrunning Biden. In Dunn County, the two liberals are combining for 53% of the vote in a county Trump won by nearly 10.

Edited to add in Richland County Janet has 52% (another Trump +10 county) and the two liberals have tied the conservatives in Lafayette (Trump +15).

A lot of the Trumpy voters in the Driftless Area don't usually vote.

Has there even been a lock-out for an ideological faction in a WI supreme court election in recent history?
