Jeeeeeeeeeeeesus H. Christ

I guess Graham is probably close to his black floor but I can imagine this alienating some white moderates

If a dem said this inverse I might just not vote for them. This is just gross

It’s time to move this to TILT D. I’ve never seen a candidate with this strong of a stench of death on them.

Lindsey Graham has the same racial views as the lovesick, morphine-addicted plantation owner's widow who he existed as in his previous incarnation.

I knew he was going to say something racist eventually, I just knew it.

It's pretty clear to me that Graham was trying to ineptly draw a contrast between Jame Harrison and Tim Scott, so I don't think this'll cost Graham any votes, just keep him from gaining any.

Graham doesn't really have any room for error at this point, so if he energizes the black/nonwhite vote even more, he can definitely lose this.

Today was the last weekend farmers market raising money for Harrison.

36 bucks raised today. Over the course of a few weeks I'd say we raised approximately 250.

Hahahahaha. Pulling a McCaskill! Even if he narrowly falls short, as I think he probably will, he really has run one of the strongest Senate campaigns this cycle. The Kander or Beto of this cycle.

With the North Carolina race tightening is there a possibility that SC-Sen goes D while NC-Sen goes R? That would be some wild stuff.

Especially since Graham has undoubtedly done all of this with the groveling before Trump to get reelected. If he gets defeated precisely because of that, it would be almost divine comedy.

They've cut out the middle man at least!

I was thinking earlier why some rich liberal hasn't been angered enough to dump £££ into an Anti-Lindsay PAC.

If you spent millions on boosting the third party conservative candidate, attacking Graham with Trump voters & well just generally attacking Graham over his record it could be the type of thing that could shift the needle by that 0.5-1% difference.

If I was an aging billionaire in covid time I'd happily waste money just to scare Lindsay & force him to go back on Fox News.

If nothing else, surely the cash this forces the NRSC and their allies to spend here has to benefit the Dems. I just mean, woah. All that cash must surely go far further here than it could in a state as expensive (and with as many media markets) as Texas.

Anyway, finally coming around to this as a Tossup rather than a Lean R.

That's more than $10 per person in the state. Mental numbers.

For a state of that size this gets close to the amount of money where it actually becomes hard to work out just what to do with it.

That amount of money also will being allowling them to raise a sh**t ton more; on top of being able to do really creative things with digital ads & also frankly you can play around a lot. And it's worth remembering they get cheaper TV ads too compared to SUPER-PACs.

I'd go full boomer & start putting up billboards by the road.

I really wonder how he'd be doing if he'd stayed a McCain-style maverick rather than turning into a Trump bootlicker.
