Hey guys?

Remember how I got pissed at them snubbing AOC for Rice? And how it shouldn't have happened because she was disloyal? And how that spot would keep her in line?

Yeeeeah.

Would you like your accolades now or later? Tongue

The Rs just said he won't support raising debt ceiling which makes it almost impossible for a 3.5T package down and Manchin to support it

That's that then:

Remember their names:

Quote
Democratic Reps. Scott Peters of California, Kathleen Rice of New York and Kurt Schrader of Oregon each opposed the strategy, saying it discourages the development of new drugs.

Shoutouts to the Democratic Caucus for making this all possible

Detestable. Considering Cuellar's part in whipping votes for Rice, I truly hope Cisneros him down.

Don't worry, silly! Dissension and disunity is only bad when it's coming from the left. Right-wing dissension is completely fine.

Go get those bipartisan credentials and Pfizerbux, queen!

So, if Manchin gets his way and the bill is reduced from 3t to 1.5t, what gets removed?

It'll be interesting to see whether or not Pelosi revives it with the manager's amendment & dares them to vote it all down.

Worth remembering that Kathleen Rice’s seat on that committee was supposed to go to AOC, but they blocked her as punishment for endorsing a primary against Problem Solver (tm) and noted GOP fundraiser Henry Cuellar.

That Rice literally wouldn’t vote for Pelosi as speaker apparently didn’t preclude her from being a team player.

Hopefully Schrader gets a bluer district and gets thrown out in 2022. The others are probably harder to beat though.

Both bills die. No chance of 1.5 or 2T. I am sure there will be negotiation & it may come down from 3.5T. But to 3T or at worse 2.7/2.8 types, atleast above 2.5T. That is likely the floor for progressives.

I expect the increase in tobacco and vaping taxes to be removed from the final bill.

Not only a breaking of the "no new taxes on those making under 400k a year" pledge, but just terrible politics. Young people vape.

Nevermind, Ways & Means has already revived it by approving the prescription drug language & sending it to the Budget Committee for inclusion in the final reconciliation package.

It's been time for Sinema and Manchin to stop playing partisan games and get rid of Fillibuster and pass debt Ceiling increase, the 3.5T package, VR and 1.2T, infrastructure, Biden would have 55 percent Approvals

The Rs are just using Sinema and Manchin to get back empowered

Partianship is gonna end because the debt ceiling is gonna be raised and the Ds need to get all three bills passed just like Last yr.

If need be maybe Debt Ceiling can be combined in Conference, we don't know, but the R obstruction on the debt ceiling cannot be done due to Govt shutdown.

You can't hold debt ceiling hostage means you want to debate spending cuts

Of course, my friend. The Democratic Party is more interested in furthering their own prospects and lining their own pockets than getting things done.

https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/white-house-warns-economic-catastrophe-143547233.html

I heard on  Morning Joe, Biden is trusting Rs not to Filibuster the debt ceiling and don't give on Reconciliation, LOL they need to put together a package and go to Conference or negotiate a new Budget deal that increases the debt ceiling on 51/50 vote but Manchin only wants 1.5T

Schumer says he is putting the debt Ceiling on the Floor on a a Continuing Resolution on Unanimous consent and trusting Rs not to object, Cruz said he will, stay tuned what hat happens

Lol they went on vacation on not action on Debt ceiling or VR which should of been in budget, non of this is gonna pass if Debt Ceiling is not increased

I like it -put pressure on President Biden so he can in turn put pressure on the moderates and corporate Democrats who are trying to undermine the reconciliation package, lest he enter the new year with only the stimulus package as his legacy...
