I mean AZ St. is a better team than their record, but not that good so they're a longshot at this point.

Right now they're on the outside looking in, but not very far outside (Lunardi has them as the 4th team out).  Their remaining schedule has plenty of opportunities for quality wins: at Arizona, home against the L.A. teams, and at the Washingtons.  4-1 the rest of the way would be enough to get them in; 3-2 might do it, depending on what the rest of the bubble does.  Caveat: this isn't considering what might happen in the Pac-12 tournament.

Sleeper game between 8th vs. 9th place non-entities in the Big East turns oddly important by virtue of being a blowout. St. John's up 35 on Butler with minutes remaining after only being favored by 8.

Ordinarily no one would bat an eye, but this is going to do wonders for the the Johnnies' efficiency, likely getting in the 60-65 range on KenPom, basically the bottom necessary for an at-large spot (on par with Notre Dame, Belmont, SMU, Miami and Creighton - all among the last 8 in).

I personally find a 2-9 Q1 record to be an utter disgrace, but they will almost certainly surpass Oregon on the cut list, and quite possibly get into the first 10 out. Projected to finish 2-2, but they'll now be slightly favored in their next three games, including a Q1 home game against Xavier, who they just beat on the road.

Sneaking mighty close. Huge game hosting Creighton coming up.

Illinois held off a furious comeback by Michigan State and held on for a 79-74 win in East Lansing.

UConn beat Xavier in a game that featured former UConn guard James Bouknight, now with the Charlotte Hornets, being ejected from his courtside seat by the refs.

Auburn loses at Florida, 63-62.  The Tigers were down by 8 with two minutes left, but came back to down 1 with the ball and 7 seconds left.  However, they failed to get off a shot in a very clumsy final possession.

In spite of historic greatness, the Big XII is really cannibalizing itself with a clear first tier and second tier and few upsets despite everyone being a top 50 team. Might be as few as 5 bids.

After losing to OSU, Kansas State needs to win @ Texas Tech or @ Kansas. Quite possibly both (i.e., win out) and a game in the conference tournament.

After losing by 20 points, Oklahoma definitely needs to win out, starting with @ Texas Tech.

While a loss today was obviously expected, TCU is still projected in if they go 2-4 with an immediate B12 tournament loss. I'm not really seeing it personally, especially if those two wins are WVU. They may have a lot of Q1 wins by virtue of being in this conference, but only Iowa State (1) and LSU are currently in the field. OOC schedule is trash.

For any other Big Ten fans, this site is really fun/cool for predicting seeds for the Big Ten Tournament.  With fans there in full force this year, I think the Big Ten Tournament is going to be REALLY fun, and I am sad I can't go.  While I would always prefer an even better homecourt advantage at the United Center, there are always a ton of Illini fans in Indianapolis, too.

Unfortunately, I will be in San Diego for a bachelor's party, likely streaming games in a golf cart, lol ... well, it's not that unfortunate, as that sounds awesome just typing that, but I'd just assume watch the games on a big TV where I can hear them.

Are Oregon’s chances for an at-large bid fading?

They're not out of it yet, but they really need a win at home against at least one of USC or UCLA (preferably both) next week.

Big controversy right now in Nebraska. The associate head coach of the women's team, Chuck Love, has been suspended, and one of the players has left the program. The school has said only it's a "personnel issue" but many people are speculating the obvious.

Already psychos on social media claiming this is racial and defending Howard.  Good Lord, he told Maryland’s coach he was going to “kill him” during the BTT last year and now literally threw the first punch at an opposing assistant coach?  Guy should be fired tomorrow, don’t care if he’s green, orange or any other color.

If Howard doesn't get fired, something like this should be the absolute minimum consequences.

Michigan should be banned from the Big Ten tournament. Athletic Department decided one clown coach wasn't enough and needed one for basketball too.

Time to bring back John Beilein and pretend he never left so at least one of their programs can be respectable again.

Thank goodness for his sake, Ed Cooley decided (or ended up having decided for him) to stay at home instead of joining this mess of an institution.

The Big Ten has suspended Juwan Howard for the rest of the regular season, but not the conference tournament.

^ Once IU loses, the crowd will be 75%+ Purdue, Illini or MSU fans at any given time.  Howard is going to be showered with boos in Indy, wish I could go.

Does anyone here other than myself know the names of obscure fourth string players in college basketball?

Especially considering the fact that at the last Big Ten Tournament Juwan Howard screamed "I'll f-ing kill you" to another coach, I am half-stunned that the Big Ten would let him coach in the BTT. Only half-stunned, because I am also not surprised that the Big Ten is looking out for one of their prestige programs. He should have been suspended through the end of the year at minimum, and in my opinion he should have been fired because he has proven over and over again he cannot be a true leader of men.

Certainly if this happens again, he needs to be on the first bus out of town.

Certainly if this happens again, he needs to be on the first bus out of town.

As much as I "love the Big Ten," we are proving to be a spineless, hypocritical and corrupt conference - especially with the colossal joke of Kevin Warren at the helm.  It's perfectly obvious and shamelessly transparent that our schools do not get to play by the same rules.  Michigan and OSU could quite literally do whatever they want.

Two years ago, Alan Griffin of Illinois received a 2-game suspension for stepping on a player (and I think that was fair).  Michigan players who literally threw full-strength haymakers received 1-game suspensions.  Fran McCaffrey of Iowa received a 2-game suspension for publicly stating that the referees were bad ... Juwan Howard received 5 for literally punching another coach?

Between the debacle with whether or not to play the 2020 college football season, the embarrassing handling of the Big Ten basketball regular season championship last year, minor embarrassing moments like calling the Illini "Illinois University" while handing them the BTT Championship trophy last year and now this ... Kevin Warren is proving to be a joke.
