USC defeated Arizona State 58-53. UC Riverside handed Hawaii its first loss in the conference in a 64-59 victory.

Colorado State held off a furious comeback attempt by San Diego State to win 58-57.  The Aztecs trailed 56-46 with two minutes left but then went on an 11-0 run to take the lead with 14 seconds left.  CSU responded with a basket to reclaim the lead with 9 seconds left.  SDSU had a final shot to win, but missed it.

Yes, they've done very well for a new D1 team.  They're also a respectable 13-10 overall despite playing one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country.

Illinois ran away from Indiana in the second half, winning 74-57 at Indiana after trailing by two at halftime.  Very surprising result (not that Illinois won, but by that kind of margin).

And that was as close as it got, as Duke ran off the first 12 points of the second half and went on to win 87-67.  One of the least exciting Duke-UNC games I've ever seen.
