Question for Republicans:

If Youngkin wins, why didn’t Democrats steal this election?

Shocked? More like electrocuted.

Nothing pleases me more than to see a washed up Clintonite DNC sleaze get the proper mopping he deserves.

Anyone here old enough to remember the 2006 senate race between Jim Webb and George Allen? Virginia has changed so much since then.

I don't have any real stake in who wins this race, but why is it glorious?  Are you proud of this race?  Youngkin is winning for one reason and one reason only -- TMac made a gaffe in a debate that Youngkin took full advantage of to falsely imply that TMac wanted to force our children to learn that white people are inherently evil and racist, and voters bought it hook line and sinker.  You proud of that?

COPE

Careful now. This race could still go the other way and put you on the other end of this sort of post.

Be real. If there's one thing that defines Republicans, it's that they hold themselves to a different standard than everyone else.

Ghost, you've just killed Irony.

So is the third party vote going to exceed the margin?

Necessarily. Princess Blanding is going to win after all.

McAuliffe has appeared to have narrowly won Sussex. Biden+12 county.

This is all the county vote in though? If so, this is really bad news

NJ just closed and MSNBC has the GOV race as "too early to call".

Some poll averages only showed Murphy up by 4-6 points so that makes sense.

Honestly this whole election seems like Dems (especially moderate-to-mainstream dems) suck at messaging episode 2875

It could, but there isn't much third-party vote, so not necessarily.

And yet certain posters on this very thread had the nerve to poo-poo me quoting Wasserman benchmarks.

(There may have been a correlation with NOVA DEM avatars)....

Yeah, I'm sure a far left progressive would have done much better against a man whose primary message is railing against radical socialist theory in public education.

Tell yourself whatever you need to in order to avoid facing the fact that establishment disaster McAuliffe blew the election in the closing weeks, yet you don't have a Comey letter to blame it on this time.

Not sure why they haven’t called it for Youngkin yet? Where’s TMAC supposed to make up the deficit?

I’d keep in mind that if results reported so far look slightly better for Youngkin, the pre-election polls also looked slightly better for him, as did the exit poll. So while it’s anybody’s race and all of these indicators are tenuous, they do tend to point in the same direction.

89% of Radford is in and Youngkin leading by 10 points. Pretty confident this jurisdiction is his unless there's a big Dem batch.
