That's how you talk and then you wonder why you end up on an ignore list. Fetterman my beloved (love the screen name by the way) may be being somewhat dramatic or hyperbolic, but he deserves respect and not to be told to 'shut [his] mouth' because you have a problem with his caring about COVID19 and wanting to ensure the safety of his grandmother. I'm sure nobody wants to give his grandmother a disease, but guess what, it's spread from Person A to Person B even if Person A is vaccinated and doesn't want to give the disease to Person B. And I'm sure he's not in favour of 'imprison[ing] people in their rooms'. This post of yours is just terrible. And because you said it - the 'truth about COVID'19 is that it's spreading quickly, even amongst the vaccinated, and seniors - particularly those with conditions - are at risk. The truth is that while we do need to carefully open up, it absolutely makes sense for certain people to remain extra cautious, and that's what he was saying. If you have a problem with that, your opinion isn't needed on this subject.

Why am I not on that illustrious list?

Because you are not a troll, your temperament is better than just about everyone on the list (which I'll note is smaller than most of the recent ones here), you're not some utterly depraved rich guy from Scarsdale who only follows events here to check his stock portfolio, and you aren't someone whose sole purpose for existing is to trigger the libs. And even then, usually after I'm pissed off at someone for a while, I'll make a point of un-ignoring them with certain exceptions.

I understand your frustration, though. I would love to get myself on more people's lists, but it seems I've mellowed out if anything over the years I've been posting here... pretty much the opposite of everyone else.

Since I found out today that I'm on his ignore list, and he clearly has no intent of ever attempting a reconciliation or of ever finding value in what I post, I decided to add Joe Republic back to my ignore list, and this time for good. I'm never removing him from that list again. It's just not worth the time or expense.
