Ugh, all his Yang replies became tiresome after a while. He was still a nice person in all my dealings with him but a hack, yeah.

Sure he was fairly decent sort of chap but his hackery defied belief.  A Yang surge was always just around the corner, Obama was certain to endorse Yang and he could rattle off paragraphs of Yang policies as soon as anybody suggested that maybe Yang didn't have much policy beyond UBI.  Once Yang dropped out he was certain to be Biden's running mate and when that didn't happen then Biden was doomed to defeat with Yang certain to pick up the pieces in 2024.

How anybody cam have so much admiration and confidence in a person (let alone a politician) is beyond me.  But then I hate nearly all politicians.

Still have never intentionally used the ignore feature.

Sounds like you might suffer from the problem I seem to have.  I keep accidentally ignoring people and find threads unreadable as a result of ignoring the person doing most of the talking.  Dashed annoying.  I don't even have fat fingers on which to blame this unfortunate occurence.

I actually cleared out my ignore list today. There were some users, as I've noted above, who were on it, who have not logged onto the forum for a year or more. There are others on it who I don't like, but I've decided to see their posts. And olawakandi was on it, but I removed him as well. As I've said before, I'm continually trying to change my posting habits, and I think that it would be wiser for me to see all posters, even those who I dislike.

This is not true now. I've added Joe Republic back to the list, as of a few days ago. But I will adhere to this otherwise and won't add anyone else if I can help it.

I wouldn't announce that you're ignoring people if I were you.

The only three people I have on ignore are three posters with a tendency for weird signatures and/or pictures in posts.  I still click show post nearly every time they post though.
