Grumps until the mods remove his creepy-ass signature. I'd rather look at one of TexArkana's sigs in public than his.

And yes, I know you can remove signatures from being visible. I don't care. I like all the pretentious happiness I get from seeing my sig under my beautiful, thought-provoking posts.

You make a good point.  I removed it.  I don't view it as creepy-ass at all, but viewing the posts where others might see it is probably not a good idea.  Feel free to keep ignoring if need be.

There are others on it who I don't like, but I've decided to see their posts. And olawakandi was on it, but I removed him as well. As I've said before, I'm continually trying to change my posting habits, and I think that it would be wiser for me to see all posters, even those who I dislike.

Still nobody. The only person who came close to ever making it on a permanent basis was banned recently and the only other 2-3 that have ever made it there (all green avvys ironically) were functionally a temp mute, because they were posting too many back to back off topic posts in active threads (election night etc)

A couple of months ago I formally added Fuzzy Bear to my ignore list.

I still check to see if he says anything that I wish to respond to, but most the time, it's a lot easier to ignore him and his ranting at clouds now.

One more addition to the list: ibizzBee. So now I have two. I've given up trying to adhere to my earlier resolution, and I will go back to using the list as needed, although I'm still going to try my best from "abusing" it like I did before my hiatus. I would only put someone on "ignore" if they were obnoxious, demonstrated continual impertinence, immaturity, critical hatefullness towards others and showed a lack of respect and thoughtfulness towards others in their posts.

As I get older, I realise those characteristics never lead to success in conversation.

I've only ever added like one or two people to my ignore list a few years back; like E-Harding or whatever his name was and a few others who admitted to being open fascists to me on Discord and generally were just nasty people.

Other than that, I think every person here has an interesting perspective in their own way. Even the posters I generally just have a drastically different life views then. This place would be boring if it were just an echo chamber, and I wouldn't be forced to defend and even evaluate my beliefs and positions, which is how someone grows.

Not saying that there arent the same users but switches usernames but people don't just vanish some of them uses different user names or accounts how do we know, all we know is that certain users have very similar writing styles

As I referenced above abd Solid, Brucejoel, Cookie Damage and pbower2A do too and Landslide Lyndon they all think TX is a D bastion

I'm not sure why some of them are there, but I know I had a good reason at the time. I don't ignore people because I disagree with them. I ignore them because I find them annoying or otherwise very trying. If you're a legitimately good poster and still on this list, I suppose I can say I'm sorry. I don't always hit the show button, although I don't see it very often, to be honest. I'll have been a user here a decade this year. It's hard to keep track of everyone, especially when the ignore list shows display name and not username.
