The people on this list do not deserve to be on this website, as I've made plain before. They are rude, they are hyperpartisan, and they are inconsiderate. It is not a requirement for me to listen to this people; that is what the ignore option is there for. If it were up to me, I would ban all of them.

Time is money, and some posters aren't worth a cent of time. These posters are (or were) the most prolific ones that couldn't be tuned out like white noise and I keep my list to 10 reserved only for those like that.

The only person I would consider ignoring is James Monroe. Not only vitriolic in tone, but also deluded himself into thinking he's speaking for all black women as a generic Delaware guy. Olawakandi is a gem at who I find myself laughing many times, same with Santander assuming he's a troll.

James Monroe has actually gotten better over time.

Anyone who's ignore list is longer than a few posters is literally a child.  The only excuse is if you're some 20-year Atlas veteran who still has trolls from the 2004 election on ignore.

Blocking/ignoring people is a power fantasy for people who want the serotonin rush that comes with enacting petty vengeance upon someone they dislike. Having people on ignore makes your user experience extremely irritating, and you'll always be paranoid that people are talking about you if you can't read their posts. It ultimately just ends up creating more work for the person with a long ignore list, because they'll be constantly clicking "show post."

If your skin is that thin perhaps.

This is probably the most bizarre tipping point to ignore someone that I've ever heard of.
