The exit polls aren't always great but I can't think of the last time they were so wildly off-base they didn't give a decent sense of which way the race was going to end up. I remember in 2016 they were the first time I really got a sinking feeling of "My god he's actually going to win this thing." It's happening again...

Shush. Let people make themselves feel good for the remaining 27 minutes before the race is called

I'm not making any assumptions about how this race turns out, but I will gladly point out that you have an impressively bad track record on predictions.

Hmm... the election day vote is Whites 72-28 which, given the strong turnout in white liberal areas would seem kinda low for Dems?

Steve Kornacki just called it "Buck-a-Nin" county for Buchanan County.

Uh... is that actually how it's pronounced or...?

As much as i dislike the Republican Party, i'm a big proponent of "everyone should vote" so im glad that turnout and engagement are high across the board 🤷‍♂️

Didn't someone earlier say that mail ballots would get reported first so it may skew that way?

Not to doom but I can establish that a single precinct in Virginia is voting notably to the right of 2017 with more raw votes.

Yes. But it might have been BS cause this is mostly same day precincts.
