Kennedy has acquired the signatures for Idaho. His campaign reports over 2000 signatures, exceeding the 1000 requirement

IT'S JOE-LIEBERMANVER
Finally

PSL should just get behind the Green Party candidate, Jill Stein. She's the most prominent far leftist in the race by a long shot. And she doesnt need to sell her VP slot to a Silicon Valley socialite to get on the ballot in 20 states!

Stein has challenged RFK Jr. to a debate. He's too chicken. Bak bak!

After all the bull•••• she put on the first socialist nominee of her party and that lackluster debate performance? Jill Stein has a reverse Midas touch where everything she becomes apart of turns to s•••.

Again, a party of like a few hundred massively outperformed the Greens in 2020 against the odds. They just have to get a little more wonkish on policy and remind people why the Demonrats suck.

Question for the thread: do we think Cornel West is even nominally "in the race" by November? I can't get over his only having 26k Cash on Hand at the end of February. He's going to have difficulty making the ballot even in states that have a nominal thousand dollar filing fee, let alone ones that actually require any signatures.

I have a strong hunch he drops out of the race in like June/July and by summer five way polls will be asking Biden/Trump/RFK Jr/Stein/The Libertarian (by which point we'll actually have a name).

His momentous ego and possibly deals with the authorities will probably impede that from happening.

They are already polling Mapstead and Chase Oliver for some reason. Ideally they should just poll “Libertarian Candidate” or some variation. It’s like when the polls included Kanye when his campaign was irrelevant compared to the Alliance party and PSL the entire cycle.

How the Green party isn’t viciously attacking him for stealing their thunder and campaign platform is beyond me.

If Stein plan goes into a tion then we would have terrorists in the loose and get all the hostages killed, she is blaming Israel not Hamas.  What happened in Iraq War Obama campaign against the war and ended up staying in Iraq

I am anti War but we must be realistic we are dealing with BB Neteyahui, not a dove on war

What's up with Jasmine Sherman, the "Fat Socialist?" She's the only one running against Stein, she seems to have some amount of charisma or at least character to her, maybe if she upped her social media game she could get the Green youth vote? She made it to the F&E debate at least.

Anyone would have charisma standing next Stein.

Jasmine Sherman will never be the Joseph Stalin of the greens, climbing up the ranks thanks to capitalist identity politics.

jasmine shermans volunteer signup form asks if you are over the age of 10, if you would be willing to "use your skills in the act of trolling" and to upload your passport to prove your identity. it is not a serious campaign (and this is just scratching the surface). jill stein won the green youth caucus primary with 80% of the vote to jasmines 13%

I think Jill is holding out hope that West will drop out and endorse her when he realizes ballot access is too difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if they were having private conversations. Here's her tweet after he announced he was ditching the Green Party primary:

Quote
“In deciding to run as an independent, the West campaign leaves behind the ballot lines they would have had access to, as well as the guidance of experienced ballot access staff and Green volunteers familiar with the process in most of the 50 states. We expect this will be a formidable obstacle in the coming months.

“Though Dr. West won’t be running with our team, he is offering an inspired, courageous example to voters and candidates alike. We believe he is making an immeasurable contribution to the 2024 election, and for that we are deeply grateful. Given our similar visions and agendas, we will continue to look for synergy on the road ahead.”

The pirates are convening in my backyard over the summer. Looking over their platform, it’s pretty based.

Angela McArdle is complaining about Luciferian Jews or something regarding all their money disappearing. Really shameful stuff coming from the chair.

rfk jrs campaign declined to debate jill stein on palestine (as expected). bc rfk gets (some) mainstream coverage and jill does not, skewering his campaign allowed jill to finally get on wapo

jill also finally got a c-span appearance, over five months into her campaign now (when cornel entered he got an interview almost immediately, and got another one just a few days ago. he's also had two separate campaign events on c-span, one 30 min and the other an hour and a half)

still no democracy now interview...

The Green party needs to go all out in attacking Jr and Biden, because that’s where most of their prospective voters are going to if they show up to the polls.

MoveOn is being mobilized against Jr in a way that really isn't good counter-campaigning. I don't think associating Trump and Jr alone is very effective on the wider public. At some point the Democrats need to attack Jr for his actual campaign positions and backers. Going after his opposition to 5G, support of the MLK Jr wiretaps, virulent racist statements, and antivax positions. Go after Del Bigtree, Charles Eisenstein, Jay Bhattarchaya, Jay Carson, Joe Rogan, Gavin De Becker, and his rich donors. His campaign team and high-end and undercover supporters are some of the greatest scumbags alive, Democrat or otherwise.

I stopped supporting MoveOn when they went full Branch Covidian.

They also sold my e-mail address to a right-wing mailing list.

MoveOn is one of the biggest bunch of grifters in America.

MoveOn has been a Democrat front for a long while.

Bandit, is there any real reason why you don't support the Green Party or like any other leftist third party instead? You and Altworlder really don't like left-wing parties and I seriously wonder as to why, especially given the Green Party just about accepted anyone until 2021. I have no doubt you supported Bernie for most of his campaigns so that even makes it weirder.

I actually have voted for Greens before. I might do so again, but I think RFK might be a little bit better on the COVID stuff.

But I won't support the Socialist Equality Party, since the only reason they seem to exist is to parrot CIA talking points about COVID. They accuse actual leftists of being "right-wing" because they won't go full Branch Covidian.

Well, Nick Brana of the People’s party is aiding RFK Jr. so it really is all the rejects lining up for Jr.

What exactly is the democratic response to all of this? These people are going to go off and try and make a new movement and there’s a huge risk of Jr creating a party from his campaign. If he does that and runs people downballot, he could create the most successful party since the SPA or pre-2000s Reform Party. I’m amazed on how that hasn’t happened yet, it could create more momentum for any possible future runs.
