Apparently Georgia law does allow the Trump campaign to request one final recount after certification because the results were within 0.5%, but it would be a machine recount and thus almost guaranteed to change nothing. And Trump already called the recount a sham so it'd be odd to request another one also without the signature verification thing he demanded (which is basically impossible without eliminating the secret ballot.)

Ok thanks. So PA is next on Monday to certify their vote? If PA goes through with it, then it's pretty much over, right?

We seriously need some internationally-administered de-Trumpification in this country like we did in Germany after WWII. This behavior is not normal and certainly not an indication of a functioning society.
To be fair, de-Nazification was half-heartedly done in Germany, and stopped after the Allies realized they needed people to run the country. The same was true in Austria and Japan.

Perhaps he will demand one, but messes up the formal request. That way he can spend the rest of his life saying that he requested a recount Georgia was legally required to give him, but was refused.

Trump was on TV talking about how he had 74 million votes which he doesn't even have yet. I'm telling you if he had the dominant victory Biden achieved he would never shut up. You'd lose count at how often he'd call himself the most popular president ever, more votes than anybody ever, nobody's ever seen numbers like these...

If he won by 6 million votes, the only state he would gain would be Nevada. Tongue

LOL.  Really?

Under Covid, it seems most of the troops will be relaxing in the barracks, playing Xbox.

Both you and I know 99% of the military has it easy.  Unless you're deployed to a combat zone.

Yeah it doesn't work like that. They have jobs and have to do them.

And a lot of military members have been straight up banned from going to things like gyms or the movies, even where they're open.

I didn't say anything that wasn't true. I don't have to have served to correct you apparent misimpression of what they are going through right now.

Yes, because GA/MI/PA are the three biggest electoral prizes of the battleground states.  If Biden gets certified in all three then even if there was some fluke where Trump could flip Arizona, Wisconsin AND Nevada, Biden would still be at 279 electoral votes.

It's over.

It's wild that the biggest controversies have been in states with Dem governors that Biden won by 1%+ while GA and AZ with Republican trifectas have had next to no trouble.

Not gonna lie, I’m glad that the Dems lost Georgia’s Secretary of State election in 2018.

Better than the stuff I saw from the Doomers (not to mention the Trumpistas) when I was reviewing November 3.  Glad that I wasn't on Atlas that night.

Unless you actually served, your opinion means nothing.

Don't mean to be rude, but just sayin'

I'm only awaiting ReapSow's response (someone who claims to be active duty.  And who absurdly claimed the Coast Guard wasn't military.  LMAO).

I will not have the validity of my service nor my integrity questioned by you again. You may reply to this, but I will never see it.

The good ol' CAC once again.
