Good to hear, though I want to see action, not just talk.

Then you're not going to get what you want because talk is all you're gonna get.  And also the talk will be lies.

If we lived in a country of laws DeJoy would be held in contempt and jailed until the end of the election.

We might live in such a country very soon, which is why the criminals are doubling down on their criminal behavior.  Imagine being a newly appointed prosecutor in Biden's administration.  They'll need an entire crime unit devoted to Trump officials.

Mail n ballots have been allowed in every election going back a long time. Some states are 100% mail in and its not over ruled. But Trump seems to scare some people into thinking he is capable of getting these votes disenfranchised. It's not going to happen.

Has this been mentioned here yet?

"Trump told donors at a closed-door event that he will have his 'own team' and law enforcement monitoring polling places and is planning to dispute individual ballots"

https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2020/10/31/usps-investigating-undelivered-miami-mail-ballots-1333001

Update to that Miami story.  Apparently 48 ballots were in that facility.  Most weren't completed.  Not too many but it makes you wonder how many other post offices have a similar pile up.

The Republican Party is evil. You cannot vote for a Republican at any level ethically.

As long as it benefits Trump they'll support it.

67k D votes minus 33k R votes is 34k votes, and some of them will vote in person, so perhaps a net loss of 20k votes, that's unlikely to be decisive.

If Biden actually does win TX, it is likely to be by a razor thin margin given the polling there.

Is this the party breakdown of the specific votes they're targeting? Do we know all those R voters voting R? What about non-party?

Thin, but not likely to be "razor thin". It's a big state.

Texas doesn't have party ID but Harris County voted 58% Beto-41% Cruz so assuming similar numbers with a D lean we get what he's speculating.

If the election goes to SCOTUS they will rule in favor of Trump.

This is actually what the GOP is hoping for.

Literally most of the country wouldn't accept the ruling

Had you told me in 2018 that the future of our Democracy hinges on Brett f**king Kavanaugh...well I think I would cry.

Hypothetically, can you imagine the colossal meltdown if the Supreme Court actually could determine the outcome and ruled against him?

This would still be a pretty bad outcome, since it would really take the wind out of the sails of any court packing efforts.

I think such a scenario would be the worst case for our country.
If the Supreme Court rules in his favor....well we are a dictatorship in practice.

If the Supreme Court rules against him...I can imagine the violence from these deplorables would be insane. Conspiracies of the deep state would gain more ground and the right will somehow become even more radicalized.
