MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Hackers have stolen $2.3 million from the Wisconsin Republican Party’s account that was being used to help reelect President Donald Trump in the key battleground state, the party’s chairman told The Associated Press on Thursday.

The party noticed the suspicious activity on Oct. 22 and contacted the FBI on Friday, said Republican Party Chairman Andrew Hitt.

Hitt said the FBI is investigating. FBI spokesman Leonard Peace did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

The attack was discovered less than two weeks before Election Day, as both Trump and Democratic rival Joe Biden made their final push to win Wisconsin and its 10 electoral votes. Trump won the state by fewer than 23,000 votes in 2016 and planned his third visit in seven days on Friday. Biden also planned to campaign in Wisconsin on Friday. Polls have consistently shown a tight race in the state, usually with Biden ahead by single digits and within the margin of error.

Hitt said he was not aware of any other state GOP being targeted for a similar hack, but state parties were warned at the Republican National Convention this summer to be on the lookout for cyber attacks.

Hope the authorities catch up to these folks.

8th circuit court of appeals just ruled that all absentee ballots in MN must be received by 8pm on election day to be counted.  Utter BS, the GOP is throwing in the kitchen sink to steal this election.

Now I'm seeing conflicting reports of what the ruling actually is, some people are saying that ithey just ruled that ballots arriving after election day need to be separated in the event that our stattute is invalidated.

Oh goodie

Guns at the polling stations, what could go wrong?

It's personal freedom though. It's so important people can bring guns to polling stations, because some may not feel liberated or free unless they have a gun with them when they vote.

Soon the MAGA cult is going to demand that guns be allowed to vote too.

I assume it wont be successful because the Texas SCOTUS has already slammed down other attempts to end drive up ballot drop off.

The TX Supreme Court is pretty conservative though. If they do this, I would be so mad.

I cannot make Nevada part of a realistic winning map, unless invalidation of enough mail-in ballots produces a result like this:

Trump: 273
Biden: 265

Based on early voting, which is usually predictive there, Nevada isn't going to be close.

Nevada!?
I get Pennsylvania, that's the easiest choice, but why the f**k do Republicans think they stand a chance in Nevada? Its basically the Republican version of Iowa.

If Democrats get a trifecta.  No dancing around.  Pack the courts, pass a new voting rights act.  Make DC and PR states.  The time for playing around is over.  The GOP in its current form has proven to be unworthy of ever governing again.

This isn't a new or unusual thing.  Every presidential campaign has legal teams ready to go in potentially close states.

If Democrats get a trifecta elected at all.  No dancing around.  Pack the courts, pass a new voting rights act.  Make DC and PR states.  The time for playing around is over.  The GOP in its current form has proven to be unworthy of ever governing again.

Trump has confirmed every worst case fear that I had in 2016 (along with things I never even imagined) about how he'd treat voting rights and rule of law.

Republicans have had this bizarre obsession with the state as if it's still 2004, and this goes back to at least 2018 if not 2016.

My prediction is that Trump loses but stays in power via the Supreme Court.
