That's a weak number for a supposedly strong challenger, epecially compared to what Max Rose raised last quarter.

She probably assumes she will win solely based on an assumption that votes for her in 2017 = votes for her in 2020.

I think its pretty likely Rose is reelected with her running and if Salads is the nominee Rose would almost certainly win. Malliotakis hasn't fully embraced Trump, Salads has so it wouldnt shock me if he got the nod.

He has too. He only won narrowly against a racist anti semite. He's probably the most vulnerable New Jersey Democrat after Andrew Kim.

Malinowski is pretty vulnerable. Kim definitely the most.

Malinowski underperformed because he was running against an incumbent. Not because he was weaker. Thats not a thing anymore in 2020.

I know next to nothing about fundraising, but isn't Golden's number on the weaker side? Or isn't it not that bad considering I assume the media market in ME-2 must be pretty cheap?

Golden was a great fundraiser in '18 raising $5.6M which is huge in ME-2 but people were willing to throw money at anyone overlooking ideologies. He's taken some tough stances on universal background checks which obviously hurt him with the online donor class. I don't expect him to do as well $$ this year by any stretch.

Low numbers, but Phillips is one of those self-funders with insane ability to dump personal wealth into the seat. So I guess he is kinda ignoring this side of the battle for now.

Also his seat is moving leftward at the speed of light.

What battle? Even Keith Ellison won this seat. Phillips is fine.

Being banished from your parties committees and outcast from their donor networks isn't the best place to be. I have long suspected King is going to lose at the convention when nobody gets over 35% and Iowa's weird rules around clown car tickets come into play.

Q2 incumbent fundraising numbers (minus Duncan Hunter who has not yet disclosed) and challenger fundraising numbers for districts targeted by the DCCC and NRCC:

Alyse Galvin, the Dem leaning Independent who ran against Young in AK-AL is going to go again in 2020. I know what people are going to say, didn't win in 2018, can't win in 2020, and that Young is an Institution. However, Alaska politics is kinda going through one of those crisis period that occur every now and again, and it will likely hurt to be a local Republican on the 2020 ticket in this remote state where politics actually is a bit local.

Not to mention that he's an amazing campaigner. He had the most memorable ad from the midterm elections, imo.

I am biased toward Manchin's gun ad, but yeah bigfoot ad was up there.
