That being said, it is true that people who refuse to do their jobs and treat patients with respect can be fired or punished in the workplace for it. But that’s a concern of the employer, not the state. The rush to make everything a criminal offense punishable by the state is seriously disturbing. As is the left’s mockery and downplaying of free speech as somehow a right-wing concern these days. I wish I could say this thread was the first time I’d seen that but sadly it’s far from it.

The word "liberal" implies you're for personal and economic freedoms.  The mask cult is not for either.  Advocating for control of businesses and personal affairs before 2020 would have been an insane fringe position.  Normalizing it has caused nothing but trouble.  Time to call it what it is — communism.  If you support lockdowns and mask mandates, you are advocating for communism.

The election of 2020 was not "fair" by any standard.  It's not a fair election when certain states and localities choose to conduct their elections in manners not prescribed by law (or, in PA's case, by the State Constitution).  And it's not a fair election when Courts find technical reasons to dismiss lawsuits that ought to be heard in full on the merits, given what's at stake.

We won't even talk about things such as media blackouts on stories unfavorable to Biden that would have been front page if they were against Trump (e. g. Hunter Biden).  That's a whole other issue of "fairness".

The first election I ever worked on, from beginning to end, was a stolen election.  A 200 something lead disappeared after the candidate ticked off the party leader.  This was 1974.  I know it was done.  (I had far more inside information then than I do now.)  I know how it was done.  I've seen courts allow fraudulent signatures to allow minor candidates on the opposition party payroll to remain there to siphon away votes.  I've seen a majority of committee members who were elected in primaries be undermined by strongarm resignations of two of the winning candidates.  So stop your histrionics.  The American public can deal with with the fact that voter fraud DOES exist and can come up with solutions to the problem.  That they can deal with that more rationally than you can do with the idea that Trump might, indeed, have been robbed and could, indeed, have been re-elected says far more about you than about anyone else.

Dude if you ever tried Delta-8 you would know that saying it doesn't get you high is quite absurd and ignorant. It's legal in Ohio too so you can try it yourself if you want...and then you would know that you can indeed get as f[inks]ing high as a kite on it.

Joe Biden will be last White Man nominated by the Democratic Party for President or Vice President. The base is going demand exclusively female and minority nominees going forward, and I encourage them to insist on such.

oh bite me, i've been a member of this forum for so long and never before have I been attacked.  When I came out as trans on here, it became Open Season on me... I've thought about leaving this place so many times.

If you are going to acquit Kyle Rittenhouse because he claimed self-defense, then you might as well aquit those white men in Georgia who murdered Ahmad Aubrey. They are claiming it was self-defense and he grabbed their gun.

The legal precedent has been set in this country that you can stalk someone with a firearm, even if they have not committed a crime, and if they decide they are threatened and want to take the gun from you, or protect themselves in any way whatsoever then that means you are the victim and not them.

Not knowing jack sh!t about Ahmad Aubrey but being familiar with the Rittenhouse case, I'm guessing that the the video footage vindicates them compeletely.

None of these charges are going to stick.

The burden of proof is always on the prosecution, and in this case (as with other self-defense cases), the prosecution must prove that the defendant did not fear for their lives. Which means they must somehow manage to prove a negative.

This is really the problem with the self-defense laws to begin with, therefore these guys are going to walk free just as Kyle Rittenhouse did, they will be keynote speakers at CPAC next year, and get fantastic book deals.

It's incredibly sad, but I am in fear for my life like never before and I'm looking into leaving this country for the first time. I'm already sick at my stomach for Ahmad's mother and the rest of his family.

As I've said elsewhere, Trump is a "Philosemite," which is someone who believes in every single anti-Semitic trope but thinks that they're all actually positive traits and therefore thinks that the Jews are awesome. Trump is the kind of person who thinks that there is a secret Jewish cabal that controls business and politics...and wishes that cabal was on his side! And thinks its unfair that it isn't! Shouldn't this shady cabal love him for supporting Israel?
