Here is my list. No requirements other than that everyone has to be a serious politician or candidate, and you must pick at least 2 people from both parties.

GOP: Trump, DeSantis, Sununu, or Paul
Dems: Biden, Ryan, Brown, or Tester

For Republicans probably Trump, DeSantis, or Hogan
For Democrats definitely Brown, Biden, Baldwin, and Cooper

I actually think Tim Scott could be a really strong nominee.

AOC vs. MTG. It's all about base turnout.

You know, I've changed my mind on Graham.  Drop him and add Rob Portman.

Dems: Pre-2016 Biden. I think Biden pushing left on a lot of social issues complicated things with moderate voters. Other contenders are Andy Beshar and John Bel Edwards. Tulsi could've been, but the media would make it 1988 redux, unless someone like Trump runs in which case it'll be closer.

Reps: Honestly and I know this sounds a bit weird but I'll have to give Pre-Trump Romney the credit he deserves. He was able to attract "Tea-Partiers", while also not being conservative enough to turn off Northeast Rockefellers. These days with Romney unpopular with the "MAGA" wing, I'll have to go with Larry Hogan. He might not be the "MAGA" wings first choice, but I think he can reconcile with that wing, especially if he chooses a conservative running mate. Other candidates are Charlie Baker (but only if he runs on a pro-life platform) and Marco Rubio, particularly if he repeats Bush's strategy of winning Hispanic/Latino voters. Josh Hawley would've been a great candidate but the events of 1/6 will complicate itself with moderates.
