I never thought Hochul could perform as poorly as she did.

New York is changing my friend. The hometown hero is home and New Yorkers are loving it.

I have never seen a post from you that contributes anything to this forum.
Especially since this is in the Senate, which they aren't in...this poster is clearly extremely ignorant or not too bright.

Hunt to stand again in Goldaming and Ash.

Still a Lib-Dem target. Surrey's full of Tory scalps the Lib-Dems have their eyes one - there is a reason why Davey ran over to Surrey Heath to make his response to Sunak's announcement.
Oh he's in serious danger!

It seems that no one in this thread aside from probably the OP has read the article. This isn't any new forgiveness, it's just continued forgiveness under existing programs including ones like PSLF that pre-dated the Biden Administration.

Please clarify what legal argument would be used to challenge the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program which was passed in 2007 by Congress and has been established as such a program for all time since.

One possible reason (amongst others) for going now and for the sudden announcement (let’s not call it snap) is to avoid giving Reform time to get a proper campaign together and candidates in place across the country. Won’t change the end result, but a more hastily organised Reform effort might help save the furniture in some places.

See: the previously posted video about Robert Muldoon drunkenly calling a snap election in New Zealand in 1984

A reminder of a past July snap election.

See also: the results in said election.

And a side note, I would also agree that it isn’t really a snap election at this point.

Good but recipients should have to sign and notarize a statement denouncing Hamas first.

Might as well have them give a public speech denouncing the Grand Mufti while we're at it 🙄

And a lot of these students will still hate him due to biden supporting a so-called ""genocide"" happening a thousand miles away from them
And this will be on the news for what a hour? before it swept away by Joe doing a joe moment and these students will act like he did nothing for them
It funny but pretty sad actually pretty sad.

Maybe it's hard for certain people to understand, but some of us actually care about things greater than whatever helps out our individual pocketbooks.

Well, I´m not a cnservative on most issues but here I side with the american GOP.
People are not perfect. An open border enables a country to get:
- Drug smuggling in
- Lowlives
- Working people, who put wages down

While there is a discussion if the last part of it is actually a problem, a country should have the right to defend itself from foreing criminals entering its territory.

There is also the supposed case of "welfare illegals" that some claim to exist. is that real or is only a RW tall tell?

Pope Francis himself even clarified that the intent was to allow blessings for individual people in a same sex relationship, not same sex unions.

Quote
He also decided to allow Catholic priests to bless members of same-sex couples. Still, he has not allowed blessings of the union itself.

"The blessing is for everyone, for everyone," he said. "To bless a homosexual-type union, however, goes against the given right, against the law of the Church. But to bless each person, why not? The blessing is for all. Some people were scandalized by this. But why?"
