Very much. The mass protests in multiple cities do not look good for Trump. This definitively shows that one of the keys of the Lichtman Test has turned against Trump. Oddly, this is not about the mass death related to COVID-19. I could imagine myself at some protest, mask on my face and practicing social-distancing, with a placard that reads

Hey, hey, Donald Trump
How many bodies did you make us dump?

or "TRUMP 2020? NO!"
with depictions of the virus replacing the zero's and the O.

Morning Consult, May 31-June 1, 1990 adults

Approve 39
Disapprove 56

Strongly approve 22
Strongly disapprove 43

Biden 46, Trump 37

It's only one poll, but this is the first sub-40 approval for Trump I've seen in quite a while.

Morning Consult doesn't appear to be doing state-by-state approvals anymore, which is a shame.

It might, but without having released those for May. Those would be interesting -- or they could be unstable. June results will be far more definitive after demonstrations (regrettably including riots)  in multiple cities on the last weekend in May.

Update: among 1624 RV, the numbers are:

Approve 40
Disapprove 58

Strongly approve 24
Strongly disapprove 45

Biden 51, Trump 39

Again, it's just one poll.  But it's a truly horrible one for Trump.

That's a terrible poll for Trump, Biden is even winning white voters (+1), boomers (+3) and men (+6). Trump ties among the 45-64s (young boomers and older Gen-Xers), a group where he has usually been leading, sometimes substantially.

Biden back down to 3 or 4 points in the Firehouse polls, we are seeing the negative impact the riots are now having on the race

This is a YouGov poll, Biden +4 is essentially where they've been all year.

Nice try.  The president's approval related to the protests is -17 and Biden's is +8 in this poll.

Then Biden is in real trouble if he is only +4 in the head to head, but is crushing on the issue de jour....

Nope.  This particular poll hasn't changed much at all for the entire cycle.  It doesn't mean anything.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone be delighted that the best poll for their preferred candidate still showed that candidate trailing by 4 points
