Yeah, I guess all those people ran into the capitol building because they had nothing to do that day and not because their cult leader told them to.

....yes?  A major contributing factor for all the protests (including the Capitol riot) that happened in 2020-21 were that covid lockdowns, mass unemployment, and "work from home" made people really bored and agitated.  Most of the Floyd protesters and January 6th rioters were just looking for something to do.

Wasn't there a McLaughin poll from 2 days ago that was a tie? Is this a different one?

Strange that Nevada is leading this poll when it finished practically identically in 2016 and 2020 (D +2.5)

I voted Minnesota, where I think the margins within the first standard deviation are something like D+2 and D+9. 

So me and my wife filled out our ballots this weekend and dropped them off at the Courthouse earlier today.

I filled mine out last Night not telling her who I was voting for, and she filled out hers this AM not telling me who she was voting for.

Got back after some shopping and there is a McLeod-Skinner commercial repeating on the television talking about her support for Universal Health Care.

Turns out both of us voted for Bynum, quite possibly for both similar and different reasons, but chalk up (2) votes for Bynum from Linn County.

We will see what Tuesday brings....

Biden did know a few...

These gaps between the Presidency and Senate are really absurd.

Senate Democrats are being overestimated, or Trump is. I know that there will be down-ballot Democrat-Trump voters, but this many?

Nevada I could see from Biden +3 to Trump +12.

NE02 would be even larger if it were an option.

I'd side with the Amish. My problem with Douglas's reasoning, and yous, is that you treat 13-14 year olds as if they are emotionally mature enough to defy their parents' wishes regarding adherence to their faith-based traditional teachings about education. At that age, teens still need their parents' guidance, rather than a permissive attitude of let the kids decide what they want to do!

Where would you draw the line, or do you have one, with respect to parents enforcing religious doctrine and/or practices on minor children?

Parents come first, unless, of course, they are being physically or emotionally abusive towards their children.
