I think I agree this means they are focusing on intent but I don't think that necessarily means they're leaning towards convicting him. Maybe they think there's not enough evidence he had intent and want to make sure they didn't miss something.
I believe if the jury is listening to the Cohen-Trump conversation about Karen McDougal it can’t be good for the defense when combined with asking for Pecker’s testimony about the same yesterday. Anything related to Karen McDougal is exactly what the prosecution wants with respect to intent and a modus operandi for how Trump, Pecker and Cohen either buried bad stories for Trump or pushed fake stories attacking his opponents.
Yesterday I thought that maybe the jury wasn’t buying Cohen but when yesterday is pieced together with today it doesn’t look good for the defense
