TL; DR: Honest cynicism and nihilism overrode delusion and false hope, and also newly acquired information and institutional changes within that church that didn't add up.

I haven’t watched the speech, but it seems it went fine.

I’m sure his reception from some of the students was luke warm but there wasn’t any major disruption which a lot of people were hoping for.

I honestly think the push and pull between Biden and the activist left is typical for most Democratic presidents. It’s just that a lot of us are still using Obama as the benchmark, who has unique appeal among young people.

So trump campaigning in Virginia Minnesota and in a few days plan for a rally in new York city?
Seem like trump trying to cut the soft underbelly of the democrats by doing rally in these states But now how do you think Joe going to respond?.

Biden should campain in Utah or Idaho.

Trump had a wonderful time in San Jose, CA back in 2016.

Hillary had some good times in North Carolina and Arizona, since the Blue Wall was holding and the tipping point state of note was safely in her court.

I was about to say this. Trump 2024 reminds me a lot of Hillary.

If it comes out after the Access Hollywood tape OR news of Comey re-opening the Clinton investigation then I think it definitely swings.  Trump was floundering post-Access tape and what got the narrative changed was Comey re-opening the Clinton investigation, which pushed the Access tape to the margins again and gave Trump's last few weeks some breathing space.

If the Daniels issue comes up, I definitely think it depresses some of the social conservative vote for Trump just enough.  After all, we're talking about less than 100k votes across three states here to give Clinton a win.

If Comey had kept his mouth shut Clinton would have won.
