Whoa. Maricopa is finished counting ALL election day votes. Tomorrow they will count early vote ballots dropped off today. Great news for Kelly!

Trump dominated "late earlies" in 2020.

Ironically, there is a community named "Rifle" within the borders of this district. It was named for Rifle Creek, which was named after an incident involving a rifle.

It would be quite funny if all the congressional Ds hang on in NV, but CCM & Sisolak lose.

Rifle is where Boebert is from.

Laxalt and Lombardo both padded their margins by a few thousand votes just now. Looks like these votes came from Washoe.

I believe Boebert is from Rifle and gained notoriety through her gun themed restaurant there.

The place is called Shooter's Grill.

Even as a staunch supporter of the second amendment I have to roll my eyes at that.

I bet the food is incredibly mediocre. Can’t imagine too many restaurants in that area are great, let alone a gimmicky one run by a crazy woman.

I almost went there in 2019 then plans changed. Had pretty good reviews.

There are lots of ski people with tons of money on the western slope, surprising amount of good restaurants. And not just in the big ski towns. I've had great meals in Silverton and Montrose.

Jeez Republicans are only leading in 221 House seats (according to CNN), late ballots could easily wipe that out.

Oh man, don't give me hope... I now want this to happen.

Except for 2002, Dark Brandon already has the best first term midterm performance since when? 1978? 1962?

It’d be quite the irony if Republicans failed to win the House due to the likes of Lauren Boebert and Sarah Palin.

That's not ironic.

Ironic would be, for instance, if Boebert evicted a pro-gun resident in order to build the restaurant there and then lost reelection by a single vote.

According to CNN, Milwaukee is just 82% couunted? Can Barnes make his small deficit up with that? RoJo losing would be so glorious.

True.
I'm using the word pretty loosely here.

You're using it the way most people use it, tbh. The example I provided was technically correct - which is the best kind of correct - but also pedantic Tongue

According to HuffingtonPost, BoJo is ahead by just 26,000 votes. It seems 75% of the remaining votes come from Milwaukee and Dane Counties - 100,000 votes between them.

You are right though...you are using it more correctly than me. It would have been better for me to have used the word "funnily", as opposed to "ironically". Because it's not too often Congresswoman Gun Activist comes about, coming from a place called Rifle...of all possible names...Rifle.
