The point of the Clark firewall is its percentage, not necessarily its raw numbers. We can't judge that after 2 whole days, one of which had an enormous dust storm. ESPECIALLY if Dems are crushing it in the mail vote rather than in-person.

According to national hero @gtryan, the GeorgiaVotes guy:

15 counties registered in-person early votes yesterday:
Baldwin, Bibb, Chatham, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, DeKalb, Dougherty, Floyd, Fulton, Gwinnett, Lamar, Lowndes, Muscogee and Rockdale

Democratic turnout at 10.1% in AZ, GOP at 7.8%, in terms of mail ballots returned.

Still unclear if this is enthusiasm gap or just GOP waiting until election day.

Some speculation that Georgia will crack 1 million votes today.

57,000 votes is not very many even if not all the counties are open for in person voting. In 2020 day one IPV was over 300K.

Louisiana early voting begins tomorrow. (We don't have anything exciting on the ballot, so don't look into the tea leaves too much.)

Maybe things will not go amazing but I can't help but be hyped for this weekend MV drop. So many people here and on PredictIt and similar places were roasting the mail ballot results and it looks like they could have been counting their chickens a little too early.

1st Day of Early In-Person in FL 3pm Update (37 of 67 Counties opened EIPV today) The other 30 will join on Saturday. Keep in mind that these are generally considered more blueish Counties

Republicans - 42,016 (52.72%)
Democrats - 25,126 (31.52%)
Independents - 12,562 (15.76%)

Democrats are down by 17K.

FL has over 1,1m mail ballots already and Dems have 47k among them. It's going to be bloodbath in FL for them, their mail ballots lead at this point won't be enough to offset early in person lead, not to mention election day vote

In 2020 Dems had 250k between in person and mail lead and they lost easily

Interesting note is the Dem buffer is smaller than 2020 but larger than 2018, which was a squeaker

We'll get a new ballot dump tomorrow morning I think. The question, which Ralston has no clarified is whether more than 39000 were received but haven't been counted, it seems like no?

I'm not sure how much confusion there can be. Why couldn't Jon simply ask *how many ballots were sent in*? Either way doing a great job of shredding his credibility.

The update this morning came at like 4AM EST, so I guess around then? But it looks like there may be another early vote in person update later tonight

Nevermind, it looks like Ralston was wrong and that ~40K figure was all of the mail ballots that had been counted thru the weekend?

Would have preferred if you had deleted the post above rather than just editing it, but you can't have everything in life I guess.

Do I get points for modding a personal attack post in real time, at least?
