Alabama just took the lead on Tennessee 35-34, late in the 3rd quarter.

Well, there goes the SEC (and my) dreams of having three teams in the playoff. (unless of course Ole Miss loses only against Alabama the rest of the way).

Tennessee is down 1 and it's not even the 4th quarter yet.  Please tell me you won't be like this on election night.

I won't be here on election night (or at least, I won't be on the election boards).

Is there a scenario out there where the SEC gets all four playoff teams (Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Georgia)?

Like realistically? No, It'd require Michigan and OSU to both lose 3 games and AT LEAST 3 losses from every other conference champion.

Goddamn it Bama.

The ONE TIME I wanted you to win more than any other...

Alabama needs to lose so that Mississippi State has a clear path to winning the West, with a cushion, if they win tonight and next week.

You never want to play Alabama after a loss.

It's not like MSST was going to win anyway, they're gonna finish with at least 3 losses in the regular season, dropping to Bama and UGA, and hopefully Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl.

WEEK 7 RESULTS

Some wild games led to a rough week for the pick-em players, as collectively we were just barely above .500 at 164-161.  Donerail led the way with 16-9, followed by Harry and Terry at 15-10.  Full results:

16 Donerail
15 Harry, Terry
14 ExtremeR, GeorgiaModerate
13 Illiniwek
12 CalamityBlue, Dereich, JGibson
11 Grumps, Ishan, NY Express
8 ultraviolet

There was only one unanimous pick, Purdue over Nebraska, and it was correct.  There were four games with a single dissenter:

Michigan-Penn State
Eastern Michigan-Northern Illinois (dissenter was right)
Wisconsin-Michigan State (dissenter was right)
Southern Miss-Arkansas State

I took over the overall lead by a game over Dereich and Illiniwek.  Year to date (175 games):

118 GeorgiaModerate
117 Dereich, Illiniwek
115 Terry
114 Harry
111 ExtremeRepublican
107 Donerail
104 CalamityBlue
103 NY Express
101 Grumps
99 JGibson
72 Thomas D

Are you looking at https://www.espn.com/college-football/rankings ?  If so, try refreshing your browser.  I see both polls there.

Yes. Clearly ESPN put the AP poll up in the last half hour.
