I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek, it's just remarkable to me that it's possible for a doctor to marry someone who storms the capitol during a pandemic. We're an absolutely broken country.

Why? I’m certain there were actual physicians there.

I'm being a little tongue-in-cheek, it's just remarkable to me that it's possible for a doctor to marry someone who storms the capitol during a pandemic. We're an absolutely broken country.

What's so remarkable? There were almost certainly physicians storming the Capitol. The pandemic really does not weigh in as a factor when we're talking about a direct assault on democracy.

My uncle is a physician and I haven’t been able to figure out if he was there or not. He called Fox News traitors. My other uncle physician whose from the UK is also the only British person I’ve met who doesn’t like the NHS

There's still an outside (but not completely non-existent) chance that Trump is going to rub himself allover in peanut butter and then start running around the WH naked.

You do have to kind of feel for the situation of someone who risks a hot war with Iran if they don't move against their boss or getting lynched by his supporters if they do. Only kind of, though, since the current situation is in part Pence's own fault for not immediately rounding up Pompeo, Mnuchin, Chao, DeVos, and whoever else to invoke the 25th on Wednesday or Thursday.
