10.5K vote dump in PA. Not sure where it was from, but it was Biden 8.6K, Trump 1.8K. Biden 82-18.

Trump's margin narrows from 142K to 135K.

Just out of curiosity:

Is there any sense of talks in United States about changing this outdated eclection system? To be honest it is extremely hard to find  valid reasons in todays world that one of the two candidates may lead by millions of votes but potentially losing the US election.

Or is this no discussion at all? What would be required to change this - 2/3 in Congress? (of course will never happen).

Welcome, friend!

So there has been discussion about change.  But one of the biggest roadblocks is a sense of "well this is the way things have always been" and "we shouldn't let the population centers decide the Presidency".
And some people prefer the current system because of its flaws. They benefit some parts of the country, the more rural parts and lowers the influence of the big cities.

This is a myth. The electoral college only benefits whatever states happen to be swing states.
Objectively the current system gives a huge advantage to smaller states. A vote in Rhode Island holds more value that a vote in New York. The lack of volatility in many states is another story and if the electorate in the US was more movable, the benefits would been much higher i smaller states.

Looking at the exit polls (yes, i know they tend to be flawed but whatever), 48% of voters said that the fight against COVID is going well, while a similar percentage said the economy was good or excellent.

Shows what a sick society we have and the tight grip the conservative propaganda machine has on people.

Also nice to see Biden making gains with the less than $50k per year and 50-100k crowds, while the $100-200k crowd swings hard right.

Further proof that the "working class revolt" narrative of the past 5-6 years is flawed and that Trump's base continues to be well-off noncollege business owners and the rest of the well-off crowd (just as almost every rightwing populist party around the world are really just the parties of well off vulgar rightwingers)

When will Alaska actually be counted (one week I read somewhere?) and what is to expect (not Biden/Gross winning, but how close could it be?)

I think it's pretty clear that Nevada is NOT a Likely D state like Colorado or Virginia but still a battleground for the time being.

Nevada and Florida seem relatively similar besides one has a competent D party atleast with a rough outlook, still some differences when you go deeper.

John Fetterman is Pennsylvania's next senator.

I hope Tom Wolf gets a post in Biden's Cabinet (Commerce, maybe?) so we can have Governor Fetterman

Then Trump, Giuliani, all of their careers will be over.

Giuliani - there will always be people like Trump or Aisles who need a greasy, smeary, lying, disgusting lawyer

I think they only start counting their mail ballots when the last ones have arrived from overseas.

I guess we’ll have complete AK results in one week.

I’m feeling good about Biden’s chances now. I was dooming all day yesterday.

What’s making you feel more confident now?  I need a confidence boost big time because I still feel worried.

Because it's plainly obvious that Biden's going to win Pennsylvania and it's going to be nowhere near recount territory.  This means Trump's only path is to come from behind in Arizona AND somehow have a recount shift the votes enough in Wisconsin to win, and also hope Georgia doesn't flip.  It's basically over.

I know it's an old theme at this point, but the fact remains that directly attacking the election process he has sworn his Oath of Office to upload is, in and of itself, an impeachable act.
Absolutely. Pelosi ought to be introducing articles of impeachment as we speak.

NYT times reporting the exact number of uncounted ballots in GA is 61,367. Trump lead is 18,590 going into this final Batch. Biden will need to win about 65% of this last batch to take the lead.

It looks like the vast majority of these are metro ATL (Fulton, Clayton and Dekalb) votes, with some Chatham mail-ins thrown in the mix.

I have a strong sense of how this is going to turn out but I'm going to refrain from making a projection. Let's just wait for the final GA SOS update!

I don’t understand how anyone can have any doubt about Biden winning PA.  Every single VBM update we get is consistent with a comfortable Biden victory.  Just because we haven’t had a major update in the middle of the night doesn’t magically mean that Trump has somehow gained ground.
