Regardless of who wins this race, the gop overplayed their hand. Voters have short memories, but in this high turnout state, they will remember this in Nov.

So how long until the WI GOP tries to nullify the results are of an election they were unwilling to let Evers postpone because they don’t like the results?

If Karofsky wins, it would start tomorrow.

Probably. Fortunately, annulling elections and ordering redos doesn't have the best track record for the annullers. The most recent high profile example was Istanbul's mayor. That election was held in a worse democracy than Wisconsin, where it has been proven that the govt releases opposition areas early to know just how many votes need to be stuffed in their strongholds. The opposition won Istanbul's first poll by a handful of votes, Erdogan ordered a redo, and then the opposition subsequently won by so much that the AKP bosses had to end up respecting the real outcome.

Congratulations to the Wisconsin GOP for being not only evil but also inept.

Following the NYT live updates, I didn't realize Wisconsin Supreme Court seats have 10 year terms. The winner will be making important decisions for a long time.

Yikes if the GOP loses this race despite their blatant voter suppression tactics. Absolutely embarrassing.

With the WOW counties well over 50% in now, as soon as Madison and City of MKE drop, Karofsky is going to come out with a lead that will be near impossible to overcome.

Unless what's being reported is just wildly in favor of Karofsky so far by sheer coincidence.

It's not over. Kelly could still win this.

Karofsky looking ahead at this point: the part of Dane in is just outlying areas. None of Madison yet. The rurals look weak for Kelly also. Possible the smaller cities are earlier reporting than outlying towns.

Karofsky tied in Outagamie is concerning for Kelly, as are a number of things.

Marathon fully reporting. Kelly wins by only 390 votes/3.5%. (bug apparently)

Or Kelly winning Marathon by only 3 points with 100% in.

Thats a DDHQ bug, new votes have yet to be added. Those are still the totals from 78 precincts.

Ozaukee results are truly stunning. Kelly doing worse than Vukmir by a few points.

I've looked at enough data. Karofksy will very likely win, I think she'll end up with 53-54% when all said and done. Reporting is slow, so I'm not going to sit here and keep waiting. Some of the initial reporting looked ok for Kelly, but now it's slowly but surely getting worse for him.

Karofsky up in Outgamie with over 40% reporting. Probably won't hold but...

I'm not seeing where it's 100% in. The Marathon County Clerk's office still is at 94%. But either way it looks bad for Kelly. He should be netting 5.3k votes there, not 2.2k.

Indeed. The Wisconsin Republicans getting real blowback from voters is nothing but good.
