Chief Justice:Smash

Associate Justices:

Opebo
A18
John Dibble
PBrunsel
TexasGurl
Emsworth
KeystonePhil
Peter Bell

An eerily difficult Court to predict:

Conservatives (PBrunsel, Keystone Phil); Liberals (Smash, Opebo, Texasgurl); Libertarians (Bell, Emsworth, Dibble, A18);

The Liberals and Libertarians would likely be able to forge a majority on social issues, though we might well lose A18 on a number of states issues. PBrunsel and Keystone Phil would likely be almost permenantly in minority on this.

Economically, the Court could go a number of ways: The Libertarians and Conservatives could well gang up, but I would certainly be willing to ally myself with the Liberal wing of the Court on certain matters. Emsworth and maybe even PBrunsel may provide an extra vote to push a 5-4 majority.

Btw, Peter, have you posted your own list? I don't recall noticing one on this thread, and I'm too lazy to search.

Lazy? I've never heard anything so scandalous in my life.

I have yet to post a list for the record.

Not sure really. Thinking about this, I'd like a fairly thoughtful court so I reckons I'd think along the lines of....

Peter Bell, Emsworth, Everett, Ernest, Ben, WMS, Nym, Q, Frodo, John Ford, Ebowed, Gabu, Supersoulty. Some others too probably...

And get out a dice

We have: one populist (PADem), three liberals (Flyers, Nini, and MacFarlan), two libertarians (Max Power and New Federalist), three conservatives (Phil, Jake, JJ).

Decisions should be close on economic issues, 5-4 favoring the conservatives. I expect that Jake might from time to time swing to the liberal side, giving them a majority.

On social issues, I should imagine that similarly, we would see 5-4 decisions, but favoring the liberals. Max Power, New Federalist, and Nini might swing on occasion; I don't believe that Flyers or MacFarlan would do so at all. Or, JJ may sometimes swing to the liberal side.

I'll finally do it:

Chief: Emsworth

Associates:
Ernest
A18
Migrendel
Al
Dazzleman
muon2
John F Kennedy
Nym90

Emsworth can pick that apart if he chooses though I think I have a reasonable idea of what it will do.
