Strangely satisfying to know there are men out there who somehow feel threatened by women like me, who will contribute far more to the world than they can ever dream Purple heart

It's a sad state of affairs that there are so many men-children out there whose masculinity is so fragile that they feel comfortable only when they keep women down.

Having a rally can never really hurt someone, and the rate of return usually makes having one rally instead of zero more impactful than having 28 rallies instead of 27. Also, I think most here agree it looks like greater NYC will probably shift right compared to 2020. That all being said, I really don't think the effect of this rally will be noticeable in any of the data. If the Bronx swings 10 points right, it will be for other reasons (namely the influx of recent migrants) and not because Trump held a rally there.

And while, as I said, rallies can't really hurt, there is a question of whether trying to get the Bronx to be 78-19 Biden rather than 83-16 Biden is the most efficient use of Trump's resources, especially when his schedule is so limited by his trials.

I do think the NYC metro area will swing right. Trump probably knows that. Maybe that's why he's doing this

It's also not clear how significant this move is. Any given group can lose funding, but what about this type of research in general? What is being done to mitigate the risks? We need an international movement comparable to nuclear disarmament.

I don't think they're from AIPAC, but I have been getting occasional pro-Israel ads. They're pretty inoffensive and generally focus more on anti-Semitic hate crimes or "what you don't know about Hamas."

Just got one of these again and noticed the link is to the website for this place: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Fellowship_of_Christians_and_Jews

If Biden wins WI by roughly 1 point, Baldwin’s margin of victory is likely within the 2-4 range.

Biden isn't winning WI by 1 pt

What effect will Trump's rally in the Bronx have on the November election results in that borough vis a vis 2020?

He's a rich millionaire that is obviously a Conserv athlete not a liberal let him have his little speech. All those millionaire athletes are just as arrogant they just haven't said it

I read this story with no prior knowledge of the personalities involved. The main impression that I took from it was that a lot of people who talk about politics online (and in this case from all sides) are working through Mommy issues.

When I search for further discussion, nothing stands out more than a pervasive obsession with the irony of his mother's academic pedigree and professional credentials.
