Didn’t this tape come up some time before covid? I feel like it was after Trump got elected.

Anyways,

Release it! Put up, or sh**t up!

...But wait until maybe the last two weeks to ten days of the election.

And yes, I’d welcome it as an October surprise.

Trump is immune to October Surprises.  If the Access Hollywood tape (10/7/16) had happened to any other presidential candidate during any other presidential election, it would have been another 1936/1964/1972/1984 near wipeout.  But instead…

Makes interesting reading -I did not know about the Montana-class super battleships that were designed but (thankfully) never built, with the US Navy instead opting for aircraft carriers:

Montana-Class: Why the U.S. Navy Wanted a 64,000 Ton Battleship

Model's conception of the Montana (BB-67—BB-71) class whose construction was cancelled on 21 July, 1943. This model depicts the ship fitted with a heavy battery of anti-aircraft guns, as would have been the case had she been completed. Photo # USN 1144964, courtesy of the U.S. Naval Historical Center

I think people on here are generally underrating Republicans in downballot races. Obviously things are in flux right now with the conviction, but a Trump victory, potentially even in the popular vote, means a much more Republican universe of outcomes than we're used to.

My prediction (hope I'm wrong!) is a 225R-210D House, with Democrats losing the House in the Sunbelt and Michigan. Sad

Good, Biden is still guaranteed to win here and a bunch of wasted Trump votes in NY means his PV margin doesn't need to as big as last time.

States don't vote in vacuums. If New York were close to this then Biden wouldn't come close to winning the Electoral College.

Likewise the U.S. Popular Vote.

It's horrible that Mexico gets an election discussion thread of only 5 pages up to election day. They are America's most populated and economically integrated neighbor.

They are critical to US policy goals and almost no discussion.

tbf we already know who's going to win

East Germany is the epitome of Eastern Europe, West Germany is the epitome of Western Europe.

Which of these three categories do you think Germany best fits in?

It will hurt with moderate reps, the ones that would support Sununu in a primary if plausible. The ones that supported Haley to "move on from Trump".
It won't hurt that much with those former dems that hate Biden (hardline zionists and hardcore leftists).

I am also interested in what you think his punishment should be.

For me, it depends on if any of the jurors, the judge, prosecutors or staff of the court are targeted with violence by trump's thugs prior to sentencing. If so, the hammer should be brought down on his head. Serious prison time.

If not, I'd be entirely happy with Judge Merchan applying sentence guidelines fairly to the defendant. I've heard the "typical" punishment for a comparable case would be home confinement for some length of time on top of hefty fines.
